Loving it. Jackie Chan: The Roguelike. It's a little thin on content. Only the one character and five maps. Only a couple map challenges to do during runs. But there's plenty of build variety. No idea if the devs have any plans to release more stuff or if this is the whole thing. Well worth picking up if you enjoy the genre, especially if on sale.

A solid new VS-style roguelike. It’s a bit short, but the combat is fantastic. I had the most fun experimenting with different fighting styles and combos. Definitely a fun, fast-paced experience, even if it doesn’t last too long.

I've played tons of Vampire Survivor and loved it, but I wished there was more to it than getting a good build and sitting in one place while waves of enemies bounced off of your impenetrable shield of weapons. This game scratches that itch. I love how the moves come out in a specific order and are on a timer. It adds a skill ceiling that vampire survivors just doesn't have. The animations are fluid and cool and the levels actually seem worth exploring. You really get a feel of being an 80's/90's Jackie Chan-esque action hero. It's pretty fun.

Surprisingly enjoyable, stands on it's own. Unique twist on the survivors-like genre, adding it on top of a unique theme, extra bonuses if you love kung-fu movies or anything involving Jackie Chan.
Style and substance
You get 5 increasingly difficult arenas, bunch of attack moves that create the basis of your combo system, and a lot of interactive elements in the levels, which help you dealing with enemies. Each attack move can target different direction, requiring consideration and positioning - you can assemble attacks that will hit nothing, because you chose poorly, or you can create level clearing combo - this adds strategy. You can't just mindlessly walk around levels, you need to time your attacks and approach enemies from the right angle or side! So far, so good - it solves most common issues with survivor-like games, like the screen getting overly chaotic, by focusing on defeating smaller groups of stronger enemies, with decent variety and slowly unlocking an intuitive system of many combos that you combine together to create the ultimate killing machine. There isn't great replayability, but I found it stimulating enough that I have played more even after unlocking almost everything, just for fun. It is a shame that it didn't turn out into something more expansive, but it's cheap, so why not?
Unfinished beatdowns
Being short isn't a problem, when the game is this cheap. Feeling unfinished and being blatantly unbalanced is - you will find that out after few hours, when you progress enough. Few examples:

Weapons you pick are initially powerful in first few minutes, but quickly become inadequate against enemies, because they level up separately and you really don't want to waste precious upgrades on them - so funny enough, later in the level, you will spend him avoiding the power ups, because they can kill you! A power-up turns into a downgrade that can kill you. I've never seen something like this.
Environmental attacks - initially look really cool - using arenas to help you defeat enemies! First off, they get activated by touching, not when you want to. This is a major issue, because just like with your moves, positioning matters, so this is only effective when enemies are in the right place. Because of the nature of any survivors-like (kiting enemies), you are on a run, meaning that you often walk next to those attacks, wasting them, hitting nobody, because the enemies would need to be in front of you, not behind you. This happens all the time - and just like weapons, later on, these attacks start dealing pitiful damage.
Unlocks are inconsistent - some are good, but few can be actively harmful! One of the last unlocks is an environmental trap that does pitiful damage AND also gets you stuck in a long animation, during which you can get mobbed by enemies - so enjoy accidentally walking into it and losing half of your health!
You grind forever for some extremely late unlocks, which end up making no difference, further supporting the assumption the game wasn't finished - it certainly wasn't balanced, that's for sure. You can't have few final unlocks be worse than most of the things already available. And that's not to say it isn't satisfying, it's still a decent survivor-like game.
Needs a sequel
I am confident the developers ran out of time to balance everything outside of the core combo system. It is a shame, because I still very much enjoy the fighting system, I think it's novel and varied, I just wish you were also incentivised to keep using the environment and the weapons. But despite that, I enjoyed my time with the game. The game has a great foundation, ideal for sequel to flesh out things, balance the gameplay, add more random events in the levels, customization for your character and better progression, and you would have an amazing game.

I hope they make a sequel, but next time it's based on Jet Li. Amazing game so far. I had to stop watching it because it's clearly inspired by Rumble in The Bronx, and I can't take it any more. Watching it now.

Vampire Survivor made this fun, fast baby with Double Dragon and raised it on Bruce Lee and Weird Al

It's a decent bullet heaven/survivor-like game. It don't think it has as much replay value as others in the genre, the only variation in gameplay comes from the moves you pick. However, the upgrade paths for those moves are linear. The moves don't actually change a lot about how you play the game either, it just results in minor differences like mid-combo positioning. The upgrades you pick during the game are just stat boosts which is quite a boring system that doesn't add much to the gameplay. The game is quite difficult when you first start playing but once the gameplay clicks and you have a few permanent upgrades under your belt it becomes laughably easy, even on the highest difficulties. I genuinely could not tell what difference the higher difficulties made over the default one. It's dirt cheap and you'll probably get a couple hours of fun out of it so i would recommend it overall. Even though it lacks depth, it's well worth the price.
