Simple, Intuitive, Fast Paced, and Tactical. This game captures what it feels like to be in the John Wick universe, especially when dealling with armored enemies at the later levels while being simple.
This game presents itself simply, with all the gunplay elements you expect from a tactical shooter, and that's it. But it slowly ramps things up to the point where split second tactical decisions are required to survive. Adding to the chaos, you will need to adopt John Wick school of shooting as enemies become more and more armored.
It is an extraction shooter in the early parts of the game, but that elements eventually falls away into a quick instance based chaotic battlefield. The best 10 mins of fun you will ever get per session.
Not to mention the twists when dealing with the alternate versions of the levels.
Looking forward to what the developers are cooking up next if they plan to adopt this kind of gameplay in their future titles.
10/10 Will John Wick again.
P.S. One issue many will find trouble with is the leaning. The mouse aiming does not follow traditional trajectory while leaning, which can be very disorienting. Hopefully the devs will come back to patch this one day.

Honestly VERY fun game, tense, spooky and exciting, i havent had much FPS fun in a while this give me that itch a few recommendation tho
- more weapon variety as a DLC i dont mind i would gladly pay support for this game
- way points and a small soundtrack for the game, add toggle in options for those who dont want it cause sometimes it does get very silent and lonely, though it prolly is the vibe of the game
- Coop, my GF were asking can we play this together cause she seemed interested to play this together, again optional thing
but overall this is a very 10/10 game, its simple, not space consuming, quick and easy and addictive

very small game for a small price, takes about 4-5hrs to "complete" (all weapon attachments, main story line and all demo levels)
Fun gunplay, a bit of a stressful setting, sets the mood perfectly.
Frames are ROUGH, dont expect it to be optimized at all.
Decent game for its price, needs polishing and more content, but recommended overall

In what could be called an extraction shooter-lite, you have very short runs with very satisfying shooting and simple graphics helped by a strong artistic direction.
The guns shoot GOOD, the aiming is solid, and the unlockables are aways a treat to get.

One of the most surprisingly satisfying gunplay experiences I can remember. Combat is challenging to get used to, but incredibly fluid, and the progression system is nicely paced so that it's neither a grind nor a fast-pass to the highest tier gear. The liminal vibe the maps give adds to the on-edge feeling you get when you load in, and it's really a one-of-a-kind game - definitely worth grabbing (and easily worth the 5 bucks).

An incredible amount of fun for the price of a sandwich.
Start the game as a sewer dwelling scrub with nothing but a pistol, thrown into a liminal hellscape with muttering gangs of masked goons stalking the halls for your life, as anxiety grips your heart with every distant gunshot or encroaching footstep.
Kill, collect money and items, extract, upgrade, repeat.
Hours and many corpses later you drop in like a low poly John Wick, chambering a round of dragons breath into your shotgun, your trigger finger itchy against the pistol you're now a deadeye with; listening for the frantic footfalls and desperate gunshots of your enemies in the distance, who are now trapped in these surreal halls with YOU.

Very enjoyable $5 spent!
IT'S A CASUAL GAME; DON'T SWEAT IT
I look at HOLE as part-game, and part-experiment in trying to make an enjoyable, casual game with hardcore shooter elements. What this basically means is that the game is made to be easy to pick up and put down, while the experience—the shooting and the engagement—itself is intense. From a progression standpoint achieves this simply (and yet, most games in this genre don't think to do it) by doing the following:

You still gain resources / currency from doing a run! If you don't extract, you get only 10% of your gains.

Quests / tasks can grant a substantial amount of your resource / currency income.

Quest / task progress remains even in death! It encourages you to follow through on finishing a task in a single run rather than making you queasy about losing progress and extracting early and progressing little by little.

Weapons are unlocked permanently through challenges rather than looted (and possibly lost).

BUT IT'S STILL A HARDCORE SHOOTER
As I mentioned, those awesome hardcore shooter elements are still there. A confluence of elements—WEAPON JAMMING, BARREL HEAT, ARMOR, and STAMINA—make for a dynamic and interesting experience that turn simple engagements into questions of tactics.
WEAPON JAMMING is inevitable; for the sake of gameplay, it's very exaggerated but it means you can't hold a hallway or some angle unrelentingly forever. The more that you SHOOT, the higher that BARREL HEAT rises, the greater the chance that your WEAPON JAMS. Although unjamming can take less than a second, that breadth of time can be the difference between you keeping an enemy (especially an armored one!) down and you being beaten to a pulp.
That being said, you still have plenty of options when it comes to beating your foes, both ARMORED and UNARMORED. You see, every enemy has two bars: HEALTH and STAMINA. You can already figure out the former, but the latter is super important too. Shooting an enemy deals STAMINA damage as well as health damage. When an enemy's STAMINA reaches zero, they fall over and ragdoll, earning you an opportunity to deal with them by shooting at weakpoints. In the case of armored enemies, this can be the head, or their limbs.
YOU HAVE OPTIONS
There's a bit of weapon customization! And I think the biggest game-changers are AMMO TYPES. They can deal varying levels of HEALTH damage and STAMINA damage, as well as ARMOR PENETRATION values that can change the way that you operate. You can run Armor-Piercing rounds and have an easier time going through armor, or run Hollow-Point to kill unarmored enemies faster and stun armored enemies to magdump on their weakpoints. These different round types also effect how much BARREL HEAT your weapon gains after firing, so it's something to consider while you're fighting too.
CONCLUSION
I think, in essence, HOLE has a lot of potential. Honestly, if this game alone had three times or even two times the content it currently has, it'd be well-worth a $15 - $25 price tag! But I consider HOLE to be, in its current state, a demo and mechanics experiment with a small price tag on it. Still, I had a lot more fun playing HOLE than some AAA titles have managed in the past three years.
I'm happy to see that the developer is working on another game much like HOLE, with various improvements all-around, and (likely) more content planned. Please give HOLE a try, and support the developer!

One of the first FPS games where people aren't yelling at me and that I actually enjoyed. Although I beat the game in a few days, I always come back to it with more kills and money.
Thank you HOLE!

Fantastic, distilled extraction shooting. Plays like a more action-packed Receiver, with more limited gun fiddling to make up for the hugely increased amount of combat.

The only singleplayer extraction shooter that manages to capture the uneasiness and anxiety factors that make Tarkov the prototype of the genre.
The game has great gunplay, a good progression curve and lots of charm, the maps liminal feel hits just right and makes the maps less repetitive and hard to memorize.
As the tin says "It's a casual hardcore FPS" and it couldn't be more true, for just 5€ it's a steal.
