Best gunplay ever. Just can't stop.

I love the cards for a casual game type and being the main *draw* of the game. So, this is probably a hot take but the competitive mode could be great if they took out the cards and added an actual weapon economy. Comp right now you just play because the matches last longer. One shot body weapons are not fun to play against or with. The AK should one shot headshot. Lastly, the mobile UI in the main menu is absurd and an immediate turn off every time I boot the game up to try out an update.

This game is really really good, please play it and give it a chance. If you like TAC shooters like CSGO/CS2 or Valorant at all, this is a well rounded entry to the genre. If you're new to the genre, coming from hero shooters like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals, it'll be different, but at its core its a very easy game to pick up, but with a very high skill ceiling as well. PROS: - The game is really dynamic as well in the interactions between characters, and the cards that modify the game-play per round. - The cards are genuinely really fun. Mixing and matching the cards can produce some really interesting, and more importantly, really FUNNY results. The card pools for casual games and ranked are different, with more for fun/goofy cards being in the casual game pool, and more streamlined competitive ones in ranked. - The characters themselves, are also pretty fun with each having a pretty clearly defined role and for the most part they are all relatively intuitive, aside from one or two specialist characters, but I believe every game should have some characters who are better the more time you put into them. - The devs are very communicative and make changes quickly based on community feedback. - Match length is AMAZING. Quick-play matches rarely take over 15-20 minutes, and ranked games are a little longer, for a more in depth experience. - Gun-play and movement feel very good. Quick, responsive, and snappy. - Art Direction is amazing; Just about every character design is a BANGER, and the map design is really good too. Beautiful environments, and world. - The game is well optimized for the most part. I have no problems myself, and I do not hear or see complaints about this often. This is huge imo, since many modern games are optimized like trash. - Battle pass never expires. If you choose to spend money on the battle pass, there is no FOMO nonsense, you can do it whenever. I feel every game should follow in this example. - Cross-play and matchmaking. - Pretty consistent free rewards. CONS: - Some characters are good at everything and don't have clearly defined weaknesses. There are a group of like 2-3 characters that are a little too good, but the devs are usually pretty good at making quick balance changes if something is egregious. - Too many menus; Personally I don't mind it but many others do. The UI is a bit confusing and frankly there could be a lot more consolidation. They said they will be aiming to fix this, but we will see. - The cost to unlock characters is a bit steep. When you first start, they give you a lot of free character unlock tokens, so getting a few characters you're interested in at the beginning is pretty quick. After you stop getting those, however, it feels a lot steeper, with characters costing almost 19,000 Gold, and you get ~200-250 per match + another ~200 for dailies. There are also noob trap gold sinks like relics. (which cannot be used in ranked games, so I'm not really sure why they exist aside from making you waste gold on them.) - Too many currencies; There's: Gold ( Free currency, for buying Characters and Relics), Glunite ( Free currency for buying Accessories and skin upgrades), Skin Tokens ( Free currency for buying skin recolors for skins you own), and Fragpunk coins ( Paid Currency for buying store content.) This is a problem endemic to the current state of live service games. This games no different, and they don't all need to exist, but it is what it is. All in all, the biggest thing is that the core of this game is FUN. It has its flaws, but I think the pros far outweigh them, and the devs are very earnest in making the game better as quickly as possible and addressing peoples concerns. Many of the issues people had at launch have been ironed out for the most part. I want this game to succeed because I love TAC shooters, and the FPS genre in general. It strikes a great balance between casual and competitive, and there's so much variety. What other game can you lay out a melon peel and watch as your enemies slip like a goddamn looney tunes character and get laid out in? That's what I thought. This is one of the best releases in a WHILE for FPS as a whole, and I believe this game deserves some love. And well, its free. Might as well give it a go and see if its something you're interested in.

Such a great F2P experience, Monetization is cosmetic ONLY and both ranked and unraked are very enjoyable. Very few balance issues and I've never experienced any bugs. These guys know what they're doing.

underrated 5v5 tac shooter. cards mix it up and keep the game from getting stale and repetitive. its better than valorant or cs.
