Expansion - Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne DLC

Charlemagne adds an even earlier start date, changes and improves some gameplay systems and adds a few new ones. +Even earlier start date, 769 Anno Domini. +Viceroyalties are a new system in how you manage your own lands. Aside from having vassals now you can have viceroys as well. Having a vassal is like a lifetime+ subscription, after they die their kids inherit the land and keep serving you but a viceroy is like a lifetime subscription. After they die you get the land back and you can give it to someone else for as long as they live. +Now, with prestige and money, you can make Kingdoms out of the places you own and Empires out of the Kingdoms you own. +Regency system has been overhauled. Instead of being assigned some random person you now choose a designated regent. I believe this comes with the free patch accompanying the DLC. +New holding type, Tribal Holdings. +Centralization laws for your lands. Do you wanna own more land yourself or have more vassals? +New succession law, Elective Gavelkind. +/- The store page talks about "brand new system for climate and seasonal transitions" however from what I'm able to gather from the wiki page about this DLC and the other reviews this is just an improvement to the attrition system that makes winters very brutal. A lot of things that I already love and take for granted are in this DLC. If that wasn't enough, the earlier start date would be more then enough for me to still recommend this.
