I love this card game. It takes you right into the adventure of the forest and makes you feel like you are right there. Do the tutorial, as it helps to get you oriented. I died without that, the first time. It has bugs, as expected, but if you die, just do it again and try to beat your last death day! :) It is deeper than the original Card Game Survival.. you have to do more. To keep track of where you are, make sure you have a note pad handy to remember how to get home!

Compared to the tropical island game this one leaves a lot to be desired. It is still a work in progress and some features may be coming but as of right now there are no character pictures, there is no skill progression, you navigate using only directions not location names like in the tropical island so it isn't as easy as go to the bay or jungle you have to remember which direction you came from. This feels like a predecessor not a successor. For the price I cannot recommend this, Card Survival: Tropical Island and save this one for when they complete it.

For those who don't know, the developers made a viral game earlier: the Tropical Island. That game was very bad reviewed at the start, but as new content was added every week, it became one of the best games. I have completed both game, and my thought are as following: Fantasy forest is definitely not a complete game at this point, but seeing the update that happen regularly I have high hope of this game. If you only want to play this game for a few week, I do not recommend buying. If you want to ride along, yes, the price is well worth it.
