I like it but the base game is short and too many dlcs

This game is a blast. Normal difficulty isn't insane...but challenging enough that it requires a bit of work to 3 star each board. Still cranking on the campaign and will likely play all boards on the highest difficulty.

Fun to play, and not too easy on the first levels. Really makes me want to platinum it.

the game is generally not too bad, but many mey will not like the broken balance, when it is easy at the first stage and on the rest the degree of pain in the ass increases. and regarding innovations in the next potential parts, i've got an idea. personally, i think it would look good to have a choice between a lineria and a horde, and then as we pass the levels we would be shown a progress scale for both sides, and for us (players), the scale would go down according to different criteria showing our weakness in front of the advasing enemy armies. in my option, this would add a cometitive spirit and encourage us to think through tactics better. and if IRONHIDE is reading this, then i am not against a fourth stage of the story campaign and a different level designs for each side.

When I hear the words Tower defense I instantly think of the kingdom rush games and not a single game in the series is bad or even close

The whole Kingdom Rush series of TD games is excellent. Although a lot of things like icons and text are too small and unusable because they're so tiny. The game itself is great though, you just don't ever know some important aspects of it because they're too small to see.

I was a little hesitant to buy this based on some of the reviews. I've played all the previous games, and I am a big fan. Companies evolve and they gotta find ways to cope and survive financially, and I don't have a clue how they're doing. I am perfectly fine with the price for what I got. This is good old fashioned kingdom rush game play. It's solid. I'm having fun.

I don't think KR 5 is worth the price, since it only contains 25 missions and if you don't have the DLC. No endless mode makes the game boring in the end.

Years and years ago, during the Armor Games era, I even played the first games of this series. Kingdom Rush is definitely a game that defines the genre. Those who want to play Tower Defense can definitely try it. I played this game for about 20 hours and enjoyed it. Afterwards, it felt repetitive to me, but under today's conditions, 20 hours is an incredible time for a game like this. The sounds of the game, the artwork, the smooth gameplay, the upgrades... They are all very enjoyable. I definitely recommend it.
