The UX in the vertical version is disgusting (maybe the other one if alright, I haven't tried it), some palette decisions make me want to rip my eyes out, but thanks to Dwarf Fortress i'll survive and have better tolerance to such things. The rest of the experience is in my taste
I'll elaborate on the negative feedback:
- career required items should be marked, otherwise when you decide to switch to a career that was already discovered, you won't remember what you'll need for them to work with
- behavioral AI is not the best
- switching to "night" is weird
- a lot of the colission bugs
- menus overlapping the gameplay, it's not ok
- placement bugs when you move the objects around
- disappearing objects
- not convenient object search
- objects that can "hold" props are not all marked, so you have to scroll down a search a lot
- people performing tasks in a weird order (such as refusing to place purchased objects despite being close to them and being with a good mood)

At this point I have to say no. Feels like things weren't thought out very well. Like it wants you to put a computer and a mic on a desk that doesn't fit. You're stuck in a tiny room that has no room for anything you need like a refrigerator or anything to cook with. Either remove the sink and toilet and bed to make other things fit or be stuck at start. Won't let you addon or create other rooms probably cuz not leveled up enuf but cant get leveled up cuz stuck at start due to space retraints placed on the player. Also the character poops like 10x an hour. wtf is up with that?

The perfect example of idle game, you can leave it for hours or you can sit there playing it. The game mechanics are simple yet interesting. I enjoy customising and making up spaces with purpose rather than just for aesthetics (you can do both) If you enjoy the idle game Rusty's Retirement, you will enjoy this game.

Fun little desktop sims like. I like it better than Sims as it requires less attention and influence, it's kind of like a little ant farm you just set up and give them things occasionally, and they do their own thing. I do wish it had an option for a larger window rather than at the bottom, as on my 32:9 monitor it does go all the way across which is awesome, but I'd like it to be half my monitor while I watch videos too. Would recommend for a fun little idle game that you can check every little bit.

Its a super cute game of pixels and life sim, the characters take care of themselves just be sure to put what they NEED first (shower, toilet, sink, bed) before their career needs. it also helps to let them do their idle thing. like if youre leaving for a few hours or even taking a nap let the game play. they wont age (not that ive seen yet) so it (SHOULD) be okay being idle. i love this cute game, i can even type and surf the web while my little guys are doing their thing.

It's such a cute game, really made me get a craving for the genre of game that's just idle at the bottom of your screen. I reccomend it quite a bit

Could use improvements... but a fun little visual game if you don't use your whole computer screen.
You can't customize your characters and have to level up to even rename them, which is a bummer. I usually play without audio, I'll keep it to the smallest size and just watch them run around like ants while working on docs. Despite them managing their own needs, it's kinda like the Sims where they keep themselves alive at best. The decoration and customization is a lot of fun though, I will admit I've spent at least an hour trying to design the ideal apartment! If it wants to work as a game, it needs more. If it wants to work as an afk/idle screen, it needs less. Worth the few bucks if you like simplistic dollhouse games or just want something cute to watch, but don't set your expectations too high.
