it's like a demolition derby, except it takes place out on the streets and you get to run people over
sure it's technically a race with checkpoints and laps, but that's lame and boring
there's also a "panic button" that removes the people and the blood so you can play it while your parents watch

A great game for it's time, but it's massively dated, with no controller support, an absolutely bonkers control scheme & no menu for re-binding the keys. The Steam controller support system doesn't seem to be working properly for this game either, at least for me, at time of writing.
If you get 'Carmageddon: Max Damage' you have the option to get this game packaged with it for a few extra pennies, so do that rather than buying it separately here.
