Very good game. Well crafted, lots of units and research!
Only thing it really needs is a DLC with continuation missions... the campaign felt a bit short, right when things were starting to get REALLY good, it was over. My disappointment was immense.

It's an OK game, but the pacing of skirmishes seems off in a way I can't really explain/

Great game. Unfortunately, Gearbox is a bunch of assholes headed by a cuck, so I can no longer support or play this amazing game. Fuck you Gearbox and fuck you Pitchford

This game is easily a 10/10. Must play. I love all the little details including the background chatter as you play, the explosions and the nuclear missile launch sequence.

Great strategy game, I like the persistant army, build or steal a ship and keep it until the end of the campaign :-)

A nice RTS with:
beautiful graphics, soundtrack, and sound design;
superbly designed and highly detailed units;
satisfying gameplay of combined arms attacks, flanks, and head-on carrier assaults to tie it all together :D
The implementation of terrain height variation adds a good depth to tactical planning
The story is simple but engaging
It is available for purchase on GOG.com (for 5$ on sale often; current sale till 10.07) without DRM or the need to accept Epic's intrusive EULA, although re-purchasing a game you already own simply due to retroactive user agreement changes really sucks.

The real Homeworld 3. A very faithful sequel with enough new bits to keep you hooked.
Great story, fun gameplay loop, real feeling of threat during battles thanks to the great balancing.
Cons - Camera is hard work at time.
If you are put off by it not being space based, don't be. It's a true and faithful part of the Homeworld story, with the gameplay to match.

Really great game that I have enjoyed coming back to many times over the years. I even found a home in the welcoming community for a while during a bad time for me.
Too bad that's gone now. Recently when I tried to reinstall it, without even asking for permission first the game started trying to install some spyware on my computer! There is no reason to do this especially since the game used to run perfectly fine without it for years. But now all of a sudden they need Kernel-level access to my computer? No thank you!
Go somewhere else people. This game is a beautiful and unique experience and I haven't found a single game that properly creates the same experience. The other Homeworld games come close, but those being set in a 3d space environment does make it quite different.
But despite all that it is not worth your money!
Do not let them think that spying on you is okay! There are so many other RTS games that don't need to do that, go play one of those instead.
I would have refunded the game if I still could tbh.

Not a bad game, just a mediocre one. Great soundtrack. Unfortunately due to recent changes in the EULA this game is now malware/spyware.
