There is ALOT to love here. Voice acting and art style is top notch for example, clearly made with love and care. However it's one of those games I'd wish for a mid score for. Mainly because, for one, it feels like a part 2 or 3 in an ongoing story. It suddenly starts, without really introducing us to its world or the characters, and then also kinda abruptly ends, even though yes, it ends with the objective of the protaganist completed. The start of the game is far more jarring to me though I've read some reviews mostly complaining about the ending, which is alot better than the start imho.
And then there's the game logic when it comes to puzzles and progression. Though not nearly as obscure as the moon logic of some of the classic Sierra point and clicks, I gave up and had to look at help, even as the world is relatively small and the interactions limited. It could just be me, but some things I felt were poorly explained for the player to actually be able to figure it out on their own. Again, might be me, and also since you have a limited number of interactive hot spots and inventory objects, you might as well try everything on everything in order to progress, but there is a certain satisfaction in making it through a game with (in game) logical solutions.
A great plus and a shout out to the dev for being involved in the community and answering questions and such on forums! I'd say go for this if point and clicks are your thing, it's bite sized so not a huge time investment, but it might leave you a bit confused or unsatisfied despite lovingly crafted.
