Put on some good music and go ham on some 2D sprites the way it was intended.

This is a fun game, I do enjoy it, but... I have had the game crash so hard, multiple times, that I had to hard shut down my PC. Totally locks up my PC. Windows 11, latest updates, latest chipset drivers, latest AMD GPU drivers, everything fully up to date. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not but this last crash happened right after I used the volume dial on my keyboard and the Windows volume overlay popped up.

Really nice game, fast, full of action! The graphics are awesome, levels are cool, they are not a simple battle arena but like more arena connected to each other, with a lot of cool places to find the enemy hordes. Movement is fast as you would expect in a boomer shooter! The rougelike mechanics are rather simple, most of them are just stats, but it was a positive for me, since I rather wanted to play a shooter (but I can image, it could work with more interresting upgrades too). I also agree with some other reviews, that the game is rather easy that way it is now.
Just my two cents for the devs: I had two issues with the game:
- I found the HP regen/lifesteal/maxHP upgrades/that regen totem were all OP, after getting some of them (especially lifesteal on weapons), dodging enemy attacks are not a necessary challenge anymore - if you don't go too close to them, you don't have to worry about your HP anymore.
- Some maps are small, but most of them are very big - which is cool - but also, you can just run away from enemies and I did not find any downside to do that
But these are not dealbreakes for me, amazing game, buy it play it, worth the money even if you just plan to play the main missions through!

Grabbed this during the Steam Summer Sale last month! Recently picked it back up and have to say. This a very fun, rogue lite FPS! Some funny one liners and quips alongside some fun retro like gore and gameplay makes this game a must buy for any fans of roguelites or FPS! Especially when it's on sale :)

It's basically Vampire Survivor FPS. You have the option to have auto shooting enable, as that's a key feature of the genre, but I rather like that they included the option to manually shoot as well. The gunplay is fun, and you get a nice array of abilities and weapons to play along with. Like Vampire Survivors, you also get a good cast of characters to choose from, as well as options to upgrade your stats before starting the next round. The game has similar minibosses that drop chests, but also more traditional boss fights. I think if you enjoy boomer shooters and vampire survivors, you'll feel right at home with this game. Great for short bursts of gameplay as well as longplays as well. Just a great addition to this unique genre.

The games visuals and general vibe are very nice, but that's all it has going for it.
The game is super barebones and not well thought out. You experience everything there is to experience in the first 10 minutes of gameplay.
It has potential, but as it is, it's not worth it.

I wanted to like the game, but the art direction was the only thing to like.
Pros:
- Visuals are pretty good.
- Sound design and music are also decent.
Cons:
- Even for a Survivors-type game, it's grindy and repetitive.
- Spells feel weak for the most part, and you are limikted to wielding one weapon at a time.

Not very deep, but still quite addicting. I really liked the aesthetic and I hope there is additional content in the future.

I had high expectations for this game, but it feels incredibly bare-bones.
The gameplay loop is repetitive: what you do in the first few minutes is exactly what you'll do for the entire game.
You can only equip one weapon at a time, and most ranged weapons are underwhelming and slow due to their reload speeds.
Once you unlock the magic wand girl, she’s all you'll need. Her nonstop auto-aiming bolt-firing wand outshines every other weapon, so you can just stick with her, level up a few picked-up spells, and breeze through the game.
Overall, the game is overly simplistic and easy to beat. You run around, wait for rare "tougher" monsters that drop chests, loot them for upgrades or golden crystals, and then continue running around to destroy small blue monoliths and collect more crystals from them. These can be invested in minor permanent upgrades, but that’s about it.
This is one of the most repetitive and shallow 'survivors-like' games available on Steam. Visually, it somewhat resembles the classic Blood game, which I’m a big fan of, but that’s its only redeeming quality. Beyond that, it’s just a 10-hour time sink.
It's not a bad game, but it’s not particularly good either.
