Incredibly slow and repetitive, this game is boring and tedious. And what wasted potential. The concept is bizarre enough–find weird stuff in people's bowels!–but it hardly goes anywhere. The weird stuff feels like pallet swaps for the previous stuff: the long skinny things all get grabbed, the lumpy blob things all get cut. And the payoff at the end? The big weird thing that was promised on admission? Not that weird!

is this game ass or is it a crap ton of creativity and intrigue? Thankfully it was the latter with a hole lot of creativity.
Revenge of the Colon is a first person PS1 style horror game where you perform colonoscopies on several patients which each one being a level split into three sections. A unique premise with a large intensines worth of potential for original design. I appreciated the gameplay loop and linearity of each patient/level , as simple as food going in and out of the body, very satisfying to clear each section of the titular Colons with each tool.
You play as the tiny camera using tiny tools inside of the patients,While it makes sense for the context of the player being a tiny camera, I found the movement speed very slow and I had to turn the speed of camera movement ass this was as painful as being constipated!
This however, was my only complaint, the variety of tools was good, each level upped the horror going from everyday stuff to nightmare fuel that will make you fart in terror by the end. The PS1 style graphics were very well done and more convincing than other games that attempt that same look. I do think the lack of voice acting was doo doo and the ending was a little abrupt, although I Know there are several endings, I got the good one hehehe. There is no ending cutscene and only text appears after each patient which is slightly disappointing as the start of levels have cutscenes so did the other half get flushed down the toilet? The text was not total poop.
overall Revenge of the Colon will get inside you in all kinds of ways and I actually would've wanted more with even crazier levels and some more tools to use! Still great horror game with a satisfying gameplay loop and premise with just a bowel movement away from being great if it were voice acted with a bit more content. Thanks for reading bye!
