The Crew Motorfest – A Fun Ride with Some Bumps 🚗💨
The Crew Motorfest delivers an exciting open-world racing experience with a stunning car selection, vibrant atmosphere, and breathtaking island views. The campaign is engaging, with well-crafted racing playlists that celebrate car culture. The graphics are impressive, though not quite at the level of Forza Horizon 5.
Performance-wise, the game runs decently, but it's capped at 60 FPS and can stutter in city areas, which can be annoying during high-speed chases. The biggest downside? Missions can feel a bit unintuitive, and making money takes some grinding. If you don’t mind a little hustle, though, Motorfest offers a solid arcade racing experience with a beautiful Hawaiian backdrop. 🌴🏎️

probably the best arcade racing game atm, tons of content (not like in forza XD),especially i like playlist system and weekly PVP summit contests.
graphics and optimization are good BUT the game is locked at 60 fps it's a little sad for the 2024 game

Ubisoft should extinct with its UbiConnect and launcher and give the rights to games to companies that understand what gamers need.
P.S.: Game is good.

Everything about this game is wrong. The old Crew magic was lost in The Crew 2, but it has been thoroughly shat on in Motorfest. The fact that it has the audacity to include so many class of cars, some of which are used so very infrequently is an insult to the original concept. Not to mention that all the events don't even require you to own the correct vehicles - everything is loaned - which means you have to learn how each vehicle handles, accelerates, what its limits of grip are, how well it responds to bumps, etc. every single time. This argument is half combated by the fact that the handling model itself has almost no feel. There is very little "connection" between you and the car, and that makes judging how fast a corner can be taken or how much power can be applied very difficult, even more so because of just how inconsistent these limits feel. The car control is sub par in general, but never more so for drifting. Everything you've learned about how to drift (especially if you learned it in Forza games), forget it - its almost backwards. Sliding can still be controlled by the throttle, but its effects seem to be reversed. As for the environment if you so much as scrape a tyre on the dirt wither side of the road, you can wave most of your speed goodbye. This is bad enough, but combined with the whack handling physics, sometimes ending up with a tyre on the grass in sometimes unavoidable and then everything flys past which is just a massive kick in the balls. especially considering that even rally cars are subjected to this misery. The only vehicles that don't succumb to grass AIDS are Rally Raids (because they can go anywhere) and fucking aircraft. And then there's the AI. Fuck me the AI, they make Lance Stroll look like the Eye of fucking Sauron. They have absolutely no spatial awareness at all. If you are on the line they want to take, expect a collision because they will not avoid it at all, regardless of if you are the other side of the road, or side by side. And its not as if the AI are quick drivers. the number of mistakes they make in a race are astronomical, and so the way they have implemented increased difficulty is by upping the bullshit. Because there is harder difficulty, and then there is outright unfair. The AI drivers, when set on maximum difficulty, will drive like they are on rails - never loosing traction, full power out of corners. If you are on the inside line and they turn in on you, you are getting pushed off, even if it should be logically the other way. Then their nitrous is on insane levels of bullshit. It fills up quicker, it depletes slower and it provides more power than yours does, even with all the perk points allocated. It actually makes more sense to run with nitrous off, because then its massively nerfed and you can keep up easier (plus it provides a bigger difficulty bonus while being less difficult). The NPC AI can't escape either because of their spawn locations; its not random, its targeted. This was especially noticeable while doing the Rival races but wherever you would expect the racing line to go, there was a highly likely chance that an NPC car will be parked there. Doesn't matter if its on an apex or right on the exit, the chances of being impeded by a stationary or near stationary vehicle is absurdly high. Its not like its exclusively all the time, but at any given moment, the concentration of cars occupying a section of road will be higher wherever the racing line should be. As for multiplayer you have 4 types of events, sort of. The Summit is a massive head-to-head with every other player, and other than ghosts you never really participate with anyone else per se, similar for the feats - its just ghost data again. That leaves the demolition royale (which is a literal car crash and I hate everything it stands for) and the Grand Race is such a scuffed half arsed attempt at multiplayer racing. The routes make you question your sanity sometimes - I remember specifically having to drive down several miles of river in a Lancia Delta once, which was a riveting <50mph misery endurance. And the sheer lack of accountability and sportsman ship is depressing. Corner cutting is not punished, wall riding is more often than not beneficial. Other drivers are worse than the AI because instead of just following a predetermined path, they will outright gun for you. The only way to win is to start near the front (roll of the dice), get a good launch, hope nobody slams into the back or side of you in the first real heavy braking zone, make no mistakes throughout and avoid any other collisions which may occur from you trying to overtake salty inbreds who went wide a few moments ago and lost all their speed because of the ridiculous grass slowdown penalty.
The main problem with this game is it's as confused with its identity as it is its heritage. Its an arcade racer that's tying to be a serious racer but without any of the characteristics that would make it conducive for serious racing, and as a result everything feels wrong and that leaves me confused.
Don't buy it, save the money. If you want to take copium, wait for the 4th instalment of the franchise or just do the sensible thing and wait for FH6 to release.

This is probably the most boring racing game you could ever play. The "festival" genre of racing games needs to die as soon as possible. All you do is drive to one point, do some event, drive to next, do the event, rinse and repeat until there's nothing left to do. All the while some annoying people constantly talk into your ear about car culture or whatever and comment on the stuff you do in the most inane way possible.
As an added bonus the game is locked to 60 fps (it's 2025 ffs) AND the Ubisoft launcher shit gets completely stuck on your screen whenever anything happens.
Complete waste of money.

~What I like:
PLAYLISTS: staged themed races on unusual cars, accompanying voice actors during the races and interesting tracks, cars often one of two to choose from, sometimes without a choice (crying) :_(
Also invited celebrities like Alex Hirschi from Supercar Blondie and other carworld celeb.
As a reward unusual car for the end of the playlist.
MINUS: very short playlist, ends very quickly, some time it's usual and boring. Also annoying repetition of the video every time they give a new car for passing the playlist.
PHYSICS: in this part it is much better than in the previous one. Already became closer to Forza 5, especially noticeable on cars in the rest of the transport it's mkay....
DIVERSITY: well here everything is clear, cars, motorbikes, boats, gedrocycles, aeroplanes, F1 bolides ---> definitely the advantage of this series of games.
GRAPHICS: a very color intense picture of imaginary Hawaiian islands, after a couple of hours I want to vomit rainbows.
TUNING: car tuning on pretty good level but not better then in last NFS series, although there are exclusive cars from Liberty Walk and Gymkhana.
MINUS: it smells too much of console. On PC playing is not very comfortable and understandable...formidable...
As a result it's 7 of 10 for me :-\
!!!My recommendation:
buying only at a discount or full price if you really like this series because it's better then previous.
Here you can find any kind of races but it's very short and repeatable

Refunded. Game is great, but the Ubisoft Connect is complete trash and the UI gets stuck to where you have to exit the game just to get it to go away. Fix the launcher, maybe then I will buy.
