I don't normally leave reviews, especially when I find a game to be negative because I understand the difference between my personal taste and generic quality. But this game is without a doubt in my mind the worst RPG I have every played. -First cutscene the MC's voice just hisses at you, no semblance of editing to be found. -First fight after gaining control the tutorial for movement pops up on screen -Second fight the enemy is bugged and when it targets a part of the ground the targeting markers never dissapear, this causes the auto battle to run back and forth till it dies. - the auto battle system just appears to take random actions, frequently just running back and forth, or using an element that we know is non effective vs the current enemy, and if there are crystals or ballista on the battle field, just forget about it because the characters just run to and from doing nothing. -UI generally unpleasing to look at and navigate through - I have an AMD graphics card, so that means my grass doesn't render at all and shadows frequently break, from my googling the devs are aware but pass the buck to AMD to fix,it's YOUR game to fix devs. - Human enemies have swords upside down going through the middle of their hands into their legs, then their attack animations are shared with the MC - 10 hours in and i've fought wolves pigs and deer in every zone, shoutout to the random golems and bandits for diversity, but they are far and few. - Music is uninspired and pretty short so it loops often, the victory music is the most flacid tame fanfare I have ever heard - SFX are balanced at wildly different levels and only 1 sfx per action with no varience which causes me audio fatigue - When sword dashing to break material in the world I very commonly have to dash into it multiple times despite the game playing the sfx of me hitting it - the zones are massive empty plains just devoid of any scenery - traversal time is painful, sword dashing is 30% faster than sprinting, so be prepared to hear tch ha tch ha tch ha tch ha over and over again as there is only 1 sfx for the move. - When you eventually get the mount you can see that its only 10% faster than sword dashing until LATE in the second major area and 10 hours in when you get a mount and have the little puff flowers you run through. - Selenes VA does a very good job "most" of the time, everyone else unfortunately falls flat and all sound like generic anime characters, nothing memorable. - The voice lines are not edited well, many hisses, pops, and even a full conversation of distorted audio. balance is crazy, in 1 scene there is a whispering woman who is whisper level, then the next text box she is still whispering but it sounds like shes screaming in comparison. - The story falls flat on its face from the very start and feels like it was written step by step without a clear picture of what happens 3 steps down the line. - the writing just isnt good, the MC in some random dialogues is kind and wants to do whats right, then 2 npcs down the road hes edgy and rude for seemingly no reason. - took 10 hours to get my 3rd character, who I already know leaves and later on a final 3rd character joins, the battle system feels better with more characters than fewer - general balancing issues abound, one of the first chest in the game gives you a pair of gloves better than the next 10 sets of gloves given from chest and quest rewards. - 4 hours in and after opening 20 chest the game gives you a tutorial to opening chest - three seperate times now I have encountered a bug where opening my menu will deload the entire world and menu and I must restart the game to fix it. This list is probably only about half of the complaints I've had so far. I'm only continuing the game at this point out of completionist sake but I have given up hope that the game will actually improve from what it currently is. I understand this is a small dev team with a low budget. That affords you a certain amount of forgiveness for quality ( like npc animations being stiff) because no body would have ever expected this to be the best game ever made, but the quality of this game is lacking in almost every quality, it doesnt look good, it doesnt sound good, it doesnt play good, it doesnt feel good, and it pains me to leave a negative review on this game because I followed it for years wanting it to be a solid experience.

All good aspects of this game are overshadowed by game crashes, broken UIs, buggy fights, etc, etc. - I had many insanely weird bugs. One being fights, cutscenes, item pickups were duplicated requiring a restart to un-**** the game. - I enjoyed the combat when I wasn't fighting the camera to see the enemies and microscopic hitbox to select the enemies. - Visually the game looks pretty but the maps are mostly empty and not worth exploring. I want to recommend this game because it had a lot effort put in but I can't. It is waaay too unpolished and is no longer seeing any updates to my knowledge. SKIP IT!!!

Very much worth it on sale. Lots of potential squandered but still a decent game. Lots of technical glitches, some even locking you out of achievements so be a bit careful, save often. The first section of the game (~2 hours) before you get to the first big city shows off a lot of the combat and how dynamic the sector based system can be especially on nightmare difficulty but after that it feels like more of the same. If you do like that first section you will like the rest of the game. The characters are a bit flat but all intrigue in the story is enough to keep you going. The aesthetic might be anime but there's really nothing in the game which gains from that aesthetic or the typical tropes other than a few jokes here and there. TLDR: Decent game, lots of technical bugs. Well worth it on sale. If you like the first hour youll like the whole game.
