So, overall, I really like this game. I love the concept of progression meaning I have to relinquish an ability or immunity, gaining mortality as I descend. I love the music and the art, from the glyphs to the angelic designs transitioning to forest and lions/wolves/humans being what attacks me. Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be able to finish the game. Other reviews have pointed this out - while I'm pretty used to dealing with mouse only controls, and have been able to make it work for most of the game....once the only option left is to get rid of your 'Death Touch' ability, I have hit a huge wall. As the motion needed to deal damage also moves your character nearer to enemies, it basically ensures you take damage continuously as you attack - and since most enemies are faster, or able to jump further than you, if they can't outright fly/shoot projectiles, getting away from an enemy after attacking is also pretty hard. I'm going to keep plugging at it and trying to finish, see if I can find a way to actually make it work without Death Touch, and overall I've still enjoyed this game plenty - The concept, the presentation are all fantastic, and it's fairly short, enough that I've come back to it a few times, and each time I've gotten further. I might even finish it one day, but even if I don't, I'm glad I played!
