Mothergunship proves sometimes less is more. Good roguelite fps, soundtrack is great, a lot of secrets that you will probably not find on purpose. The games dry humor in its "stories" is knee slap worthy sometimes.
Gunplay is not exactly satisfying unless you get a really good mod/stats at some point in a run, most of it boils down to shooting and strafing until youre the only thing left in the room.

I used to play this game a lot on Xbox before i had a PC and i'll tell you what i'm not nostalgia blind, this games sucks a fat turd, feedback when hitting something is not great even with mouse control this game feels like a chore to play, tower of guns more like tower of gun mainly because of you can only use one gun i know its supposed to be a bullet hell, but its also an fps even the most basic of that genre allow you to have more that 1 friggin gun, and the starting perk with 3 jumps is the only one worth using cause its the only one that makes the game some what fun. I loved you in the past Tower of Guns but not anymore.
Edit: I do like the dialogue i think its somewhat charming but not enough to make the game worth playing again.
