The easiest and shortest in the trilogy of Hexcell games. If you hunger for more, get "Plus" and "Infinite" as well. If you can only buy one of them, go for Infinite.

Had this game for a while, but didn't get around to finishing it until recently. Hexcells is basically Minesweeper, with a few extra features and less randomness. If you like minesweeper, you'll love this (though you might want to invert the click controls, because they're basically the reverse of Minesweeper).
For what's here, the game is very fun and the soothing music is really nice too. But... it's very short. And there's not much replayability, as the puzzles are as far as I can tell not procedurally-generated.
I'd give Hexcells an 8/10 if only for it lacking in game length and replayability. Otherwise, it would be a 9.

Relaxing and enjoyable puzzle game. Similar to minesweeper. Not hard to get all levels just takes a few tries on some of the later ones.

Fun, simple, and clever puzzle game. controls are simple, and dark mode is a godsend.
This plays like a cross between minesweeper and picross. The tutorial doesn't feel overtly hand-holdy so you'll quickly be playing the game once you know what the goal of the levels are. New mechanics are drip-fed at a good pace so gameplay doesn't get stale.
You are scored by number of mistakes, not by time, so you can play at your own leisure. You are allowed infinite mistakes on a level too, though you need as few as possible to unlock the next set of levels. No guessing is needed, and the community tab has some great spoiler-free tips for those who get stuck, but don't overtly want the answer.
If you like logic puzzles this game is a must-have.

Exactly what you'd expect: short, fun Minesweeper-esque puzzle. Felt like I was straining my eyes a bit in the later levels trying to match everything up but wasn't anything more than a nuisance. Only suggestion would be to and an option allowing clearing of cells by dragging the mouse.

Great game, quite easy compared to the latter two but the puzzles are still very good.

This game is so relaxing and has such chill. I keep coming back to Hexcells and its sequels time after time to replay and stretch my brain. Despite being the same levels on replay, it's still fully worthwhile to come back and see if I can still logic out the right answers. Hexcells is a staple of my puzzle game library, and it is never going to leave.

Hexagonal Minesweeper puzzle levels. No guessing required. I 100% it in under three hours.
It was a chill time, but I'll probably never re-install
