Hexcells is a short and relaxing puzzle experience. It sort of feels like Sudoku, which seems weird, but you will catch my drift when playing it a little bit. Every level is completable through observation and logic. The moments, where you really have to deduce the solution, are the best, so don't just guess or cheese the game through screenshots and restarting levels. The aesthetics are pleasing, the music and sound design is 10/10.

Minesweeper with hexagons. I would buy again for two dollars, but three seems a little much. Still fun though.

Neat take on Minesweeper with a dash of sudoku. It puts it's on spin on things very nicely. I hope that they add the ability for users to make their own levels, because infinite content in this game would be epic! =) Note: the last level is just a "Thanks for Playing" which was a let-down when I realized that the game was over when I thought I had one more level to enjoy. The last level should be separated off on it's own. It's cute, but the presentation ruins it being anything other than disappointing and a tarnish on an otherwise Fantastic game. My only solid complaint is that it leaves me feeling warmed up and wanting more ;) But for the price I can't complain. It delivered and I like the game. Thumbs Up from me. =) Edit: Hexcells Infinite ($5) exists!!! =D It has a level generator! (Here's hoping it's good! ;) )

Simple enough, and an enjoyable experience the whole time.

Pleasing, and there's a dark mode and brightness settings if your eyes hurt when opening it!

Had this game for a while, but didn't get around to finishing it until recently. Hexcells is basically Minesweeper, with a few extra features and less randomness. If you like minesweeper, you'll love this (though you might want to invert the click controls, because they're basically the reverse of Minesweeper). For what's here, the game is very fun and the soothing music is really nice too. But... it's very short. And there's not much replayability, as the puzzles are as far as I can tell not procedurally-generated. I'd give Hexcells an 8/10 if only for it lacking in game length and replayability. Otherwise, it would be a 9.

Relaxing and enjoyable puzzle game. Similar to minesweeper. Not hard to get all levels just takes a few tries on some of the later ones.

This game is so relaxing and has such chill. I keep coming back to Hexcells and its sequels time after time to replay and stretch my brain. Despite being the same levels on replay, it's still fully worthwhile to come back and see if I can still logic out the right answers. Hexcells is a staple of my puzzle game library, and it is never going to leave.

Minesweeper but way better, handcrafted levels. Get all 3 games you won't regret it. Last game (infinite) has auto generated levels, but every level in these games can be solved without guessing, which makes it so cool. It's insanely hard, especially in the next 2 games, but you always know for sure that you never ever have to guess, there is a correct, find-able answer.
