You can't save in the dungeons? Why?
This is just an artificial means of making this game longer. How about adding more content instead of artificially inflating the game length by technicalities of the game mechanics.
Edit: It's worth it on sale, I got plenty of enjoyment out of the RPG elements of the many, many layers to the dungeon. The themes are lighthearted as well, well, I guess depending on your playstyle, as per corruption playstyle games fall under.
