This game was short - but super cute! First off, I really liked that could use either the keyboard or mouse to move around and select options. The voice acting was fun, and the content was pretty funny. The mechanics and gameplay was easy to understand too. Overall, loved it! It was a casual cute point-and-click detective adventure with a noir flare.

What a hidden gem this was. I discovered this in a demo festival and bought it immediately when it was ready. It's a short, polished detective game which was even better than I expected. You play a down-on-his-luck duck - a private detective for hire, and you get called to a case to discover who stole someone's lunch. It turns into something bigger than that in a really clever way, and I really enjoyed the story. You investigate clues, interrogate people, then make deducktions to progress the case. It's a little short for it's price - and honestly until partway through I just assumed the game would have several cases but it's just the one.
Pros
- Fully voice acted
- Things you can interact with are highlighted so you don't have to randomly click on stuff
- Logical puzzles that you can actually work out from clues and dialogue, rather than randomly guessing. I had to think a bit, but never got completely stuck
- Much more interesting than I originally thought it would be
- Simple controls
- The game takes place all in one office, spread across about 6 rooms - so it's easy to get from place to place when investigating
Cons
- The game indicates if you're missing anything at a location, which is great - unfortunately the indicator shows even if you're missing something that only shows up later in the game. So for example, Manfred's office has the indicator for pretty much the whole game, but there's something in there that you can only interact with towards the end of the game.
- About 2.5 hours long. It's a high quality indie game, but €10 for 2.5 hours is a lot.

I wanted to LOVE this game so much. I love detective/mystery/puzzle games. And I love cutesy/cozy games. This feels like it's right up my alley. It made me a bit sad. :(
It simultaneously felt too easy and too difficult. I felt like I could have done more if I had been given more options, more freedom. The focus of the game for me ended up being trying to find out what exact, specific words they were looking for that didn't always make sense. I wanted to focus on the clues and putting them together. The fill-in-the-blanks didn't always make sense to me, like I said, so that made the game difficult and frustrating. I ended up needing hints which was super annoying for such a short game.
Finding the clues was super fun, but I wasn't able to deduct things from the clues. It was as if I was finding clues just to find them. Because the focus was...the fill-in-the-blank stuff. Ugh. That probably made intuitive sense to some people's brains, and they probably loved this. It's just not what I expected.
The vibes are so fun, goofy, and engaging. The voice work, story, and animation are stellar. I wish it had a replay value, because I would have loved to have experienced all of that again. I really, REALLY enjoyed that part of it. I wish I could give it a "maybe." But, ultimately, I don't recommend it, unless maybe it's really on sale.

I played it, liked it a lot, the voice acting is great and funny.
Hell, even my parents played it and had a really good laugh.
The only changes I'd wish for is that the detailed image of an object was always available after finding details while using the magnifying glass and that a regular zoom was available in those situations.

Fairly short (took me 2.5 hours to beat) but the writing, voice acting, visuals, it's all so charming! It's very much worth it and a fun step up in complexity if you're coming off the Frog Detective games and need another animal based crime solving game!

Perfect lil one shot game for streaming. Fully voice acted, pretty easy to figure out on mouse or with a controller, really silly and fun to play. I can't wait for the next one to come out this year!

Depending on how fast you solve these puzzles, this is a nice and quick game, perfect for those who love detective games. Although, I would not say that it is worth the price…
This game took significant brain usage, the information they provide you can be a little hard to apply into evidence, but that is what we love about detective games. It makes you feel like a real detective trying to solve a case.
The artwork and the voice acting were great. The game is fully voice acted!!!
I loved how you could investigate the small details with a magnifying glass.
Plus, there is even humor mixed into the story, but still the game was very short.
This game does not lack in many aspects regarding the gameplay. Over all, I only have good things to say about this game, it’s only unfortunate that it’s short and the high price for such short game.
I finished the game in one night, but it was a nice experience.
I would recommend this game for the people who love puzzle games and just want something chill and short.
Or maybe get it if it ever gets a sale🤷♀️
