This game feels blatantly unfinished, with all of its content easily chewed through in just a couple of hours — barely longer than the refund window. And yet, the developers have the audacity to slap a €25 price tag on it. For roughly the same amount, you could buy GTA V, Factorio, Satisfactory, Cities: Skylines, Kerbal Space Program, Project Zomboid, U-Boat, Foxhole, or Holdfast. All games with hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of content, depth, and replayability. But sure, let’s pretend this shallow puddle is worth the price of an ocean. Within 90 to 120 minutes, you’ll have seen everything this game will ever show you. No hidden depth, no surprises, no reason to ever boot it up again. It’s a hollow, overpriced waste of time and money. Do not be fooled by excitable and over-enthusiastic YouTubers, this is not worth your time or your money. Avoid

This was fun for a couple of days with friends, until the broken physics engine, crappy multiplayer performance, and multitude of bugs stopped being funny and started being a hassle. We also struggled to find small, rare parts for our cars to finish builds. The developers fix maybe one bug per patch, and seem not to know how to prioritize performance or other frequent player issues. Now there's a FOMO Event running for two weeks, with a reward pool of 10k Steam items, and then they're gone forever. No fixes, no new content. But have some FOMO. Save your $25. EDIT: Error on duration of event, it is two weeks, not one week as originally stated.

Played the demo and enjoyed it. Started playing the full EA game and got thrown into the backrooms. Game glitched out from there. Built the cart, didnt register. Ran over the monster, didnt register. Tried to exit via holes in the floor, game stuck with me falling infinitely, autosaved and corrupted the save file. Had to restart. Note to the Dev: if people wanted to play a Backrooms game they would purchase the 100s of BR games out. Not some glitchy "update" to an already jank game thats NOT a BR game. Just a thought...

At the moment this feels like those old greenlight asset flips, especially considering they felt that instead of working on the basic gameplay they felt the need to add in some backrooms stuff. It feels like they don't have their priorities on straight. If they focus on making the base game playable it might be worth getting but as it stands now this thing is a mess.

I bought this game on sale for $15 because I love the game it’s based on, The Long Drive. I didn’t want to pay full price because many reviews mentioned a lack of content. That said, I’m not entirely happy I spent $15 on this game either. In its current state, the game is marginally playable. First, the lighting at night makes it nearly impossible to see. For example, I pulled into a tire shop in the evening and then collected parts at night. It was so dark that I couldn’t see any of the parts I had collected or any of the parts still inside the garage despite having both my car’s headlights and the garage lights on. Regarding the flashlight, equipping and using it requires both hands. This means that to collect or change out parts, you need to drop the flashlight, plunging you back into darkness. The night cycle felt like it lasted around 10 minutes, meaning every day/night cycle leaves you with about 10 minutes of unplayable game time, unless you’re only driving and have headlights. Next, language. Despite the game claiming to have full English functionality, the radio is fully in French, and some options such as the “Exit Game” button are only in French. It’s a minor problem, but one that would be better if fixed. Last, volume. The sound levels for weather events, the radio, the engine, and more all need adjusting. My footsteps sound like thunder, while thunder sounds like a friend snapping their fingers 20 kilometers away. I understand the game is in early access; however, the developers’ decision to release a limited-time event before fixing the many bugs boggles me. I can’t recommend this game at this time. I’m even considering refunding it despite buying it on sale. That said, I still have hope that the developers will continue to listen to player feedback and fix the game over time. For now, I’d suggest saving your money, adding this to your Wishlist, and checking back in 2026.

I have over 200 Hours in this game, Completed and Unlocked all the cars. 51/51 Achievements. Great Game, Especially for an Early Access. Yes, it has its bugs and quirks. No, its not "Perfect" in any way shape or form. I love the attention to detail this game has. Like the paint scheme, You can paint everything White or Grey 1st then whatever color you want for a solid finish, OR you can Paint with one color and then another over it for an Undertone look, I am partial to the Metallic Purple (Black label) As a base coat then Metallic Black over it. The finish is *Chef's Kiss* However, There are a couple of things i HOPE to see in the future. 1, I would LOVE a story of SOME KIND. Like, WTF happened to the world?, Where is everyone else? Where am I going on this long.....long...LONG road. Whats the deal with the zombies?, Whats the deal with the Aliens? The aliens seem cool in the radio tower scenes but in the scenario we blow them up for some reason....Maybe we are the bad guys here?, Something. 2, I would love a way to save our completed cars besides towing them behind us forever. After the 3rd or fourth completed car dragging behind me, I just started screen shotting them and abandoning them. I don't know how it could be done since we are forever moving forward and making it make sense as to how your car left behind got ahead of you. Maybe when you start a new game and use a car you completed, it starts completed. I mean the idea of finishing a car and starting a new game with it only to abandon it for a different car or complete it again is...."meh" Multiplayer: Sometimes I'll start a new game and open it for multiplayer just to have some random people join just to have some fun....BUT that comes with nothing but griefing in my experience, People will join and RPG my car or outright steal it and drive off or strip it for their own cars. The kick / Ban system does not work properly, I have kicked and banned many people and they just immediately rejoin. Again, Love the game so far, cant wait to see what future development has in store.

Fun and immersive, I’d love more events on the roads—like oncoming traffic, regular traffic, hordes of zombies, or something similar. Maybe maniacs' houses (like in that other game). More cars, preferably closer to real-life ones. More music, radio stations, and make the radio louder than the engine sound in expensive or fully upgraded cars (with closed doors, for example). For multiplayer, there’s a lack of a global goal—like, what’s the point? (It’d be cool to reach some checkpoint or deliver something safely, something like that). Also, player sanity could use some work (but if there’s a global goal, it’d naturally give randoms a reason to team up (kinda like Left 4 Dead multiplayer). Maybe add small towns and villages with better loot, houses, traps, and dangers—maybe even car enemies (like bandits) who try to stop you (shooting at tires or at you)—similar to Spy Hunter 2. And let us shoot back too (kinda like PUBG). More guns, and some thought behind adding them (like shooting distant targets to trigger some fun scripted event). Maybe online multiplayer sessions—lots of players on one road, racing to reach a checkpoint first. Could also do something like NFS Hot Pursuit or similar. Basically—tons of ways to expand, limited only by the engine lol))) __ интересно и атмосферно, хочется больше событий по дорогам, например встречка, трафик, полчища зомби или подобное.

As this game sits now, i would not recommend this game. It crashes frequently with no notes as to why it's crashing. It'll crash when you simply load in, when you're just standing there or midway through the drive. It has potential to be an absolutely fantastic game but there needs to be more updates and fixes. A lot of text has not gotten translated either even though it says you can have it in English, which I do. It seems like there's a couple comments on how the game devs have slowed down on progress without any form of communication to people who have already bought the game to support it.

The Demo was amazing, hence i bought the game. However i'm English, i do not speak or read French, but most of the game seems to be in French which makes it practically unplayable for me at the moment. I'll check back in a few months as maybe they will have translated a bit more, but that should be something made clear before buying or at least on the intro screens! At the moment i can't recommend the game.
