"bad things happen to everyone. And it's hard to keep being yourself after they do."
At it's core, season 2 shows how grief changes people, and it's a masterpiece at doing so. It's probably tied with season 3 for being my favorite game in the franchise, and it shines with Clem being a mf badass here. Giving herself surgery (a scene that made me feel so dizzy), constantly taking care of a whole ass group of adults, going against evil dictators, finding people to call family, stomping zombies, all at 11 years old?? Even while playing this on a hot summer day, the last couple episodes still makes my skin run ice cold. So proud to call this one of my favorite games of all time.

The game where a group of fully grown adults rely on an 11 year old girl for life advice and basic survival strategy

I think Season Two is actually really enjoyable and the way that Telltale makes you feel consistently manipulated and gas lit by all of the characters in this season almost makes it better than the first in my opinion. Playing Season 1 into Season 2 is awesome.

This game, like the first one, is a masterpiece. It's an experience, and it was worth avoiding all the spoilers to play this. This game feels so real, it's honestly crazy. Not in the sense of graphics, but in the sense of story. There's not a word to describe this masterpiece, you just have to play it to understand. This game is a 10/10, no doubt.

the story is still good but nothing hits quite like season 1. i always end up picking the most savage dialogue option just because some characters are so annoying and then i feel guilty right after. this game really knows how to mess with your emotions. watching clem trying to survive through all of this, it's just heartbreaking :(. i swear this game manipulates you in the best (and worst) way possible lol

The Walking Dead Season 2 is a story based game where your choices affect how the story unfolds.
Just like in Season 1, the characters are incredibly written and in this one, Kenny truly steals the spotlight as a deep, complex, and emotionally powerful character.
Every decision you make feels intense and heartbreaking, pulling you into a story that constantly tests your morals and loyalty.
If you enjoyed Season 1, Season 2 is an unforgettable continuation you absolutely shouldn't miss.
