Relatively short, but enjoyable auto-battler. Placement of units feels almost like programming when you choose target types and offer sacrificial units to direct parts of enemy forces. Enemy forces use always 'target closest' as far as I can tell - which simplifies problems, but nevertheless collection of missions was interesting.
I almost wish there were roleplaying game like elements as currently this simulator feels limited. That or perhaps additional forces, but I doubt current stats would enable significantly more complexity. There's adventure mode - but it is essentially just growing your army and getting bonuses while fighting continuous battles until you face boss. It's workable campaign experience, but given how you develop your available unit selection, but not numbers of troops, experience feels abstracted. You don't have troops, but instead points spent on units pre-battle.
Nevertheless I am happy having bought this game. It is a short and fun auto-battler experience with limited tactical complexity.
