Did a loop the loop in my glider truck and found a door that leads to a dark dimension. The severed finger I hang around with got freaked out so we left. 10/10 game

I have three complaints exactly: One is that the crane game for merch is bad. The second is that the vendors don't restock and I've already exhausted the world's supply of onigiri and bar snacks. The last is that there's not enough of the rest of the game. I want more in-depth mascot wrangling, more characterization and interaction with my misfit spirit-creatures. More stats, more card battling, more numbers, more Of This in general. Also since the devs are on record as saying putting all the collectibles on the map puts Unreal Engine in a hot car with the windows up, maybe make a filter so only one kind of collectible can be displayed at a time? I'm having a hell of a time finding the trashbags and also I somehow missed a breakable wall?

Silly story with solid mechanics and enough collect-a-thon that you don't feel overly punished to go explore and find them all. It was like playing some of the Yakuza side hustles without 800 fights in between.

8'5/10. I finished Paradise Killer earlier this year, and I liked it so much, that it make PMA one of the games I was looking forward the most for 2025. And I LOVED it. Even a bit more than PK. It was just a very fun, funny, charming, comfort kind of game. Pinky is an icon, Michi is just great, and a lot of the mascots are just incredibly fun and memorable. The gameplay loop was also super focused and addicting in a very chill way. If you like Yakuza/LAD, and enjoy the more wackier side of it, this game is perfect for you.

Chill driving visual novel game, something a bit different to what is out there currently, but an awesome game nonetheless.

This is a beautiful game with a lot of heart and an undercurrent of optimism against all odds. The VIBES™ are IMMACULATE and the game makes you feel weirdly nostalgic for something not really specific? It just has a wonderful atmosphere and exploring around this little town gave me so much joy. The management aspect could have used a little more depth, and I didn't really like the Hero card battle system, it got old very fast and I kinda dreaded having to deal with it late-game whenever it popped up. Early on it is a little hard to get your money up, but it feels like things snowball quite quickly and once you start purchasing upgrades it's very easy to get them all very fast, towards the late-game I was just mainlining the story and no longer interacting with any of the money-making systems as they barely mattered anymore. The story, however, absolutely kept me going. Dialogue is constantly a delight, I really adore those characters and was very intrigued by the twists and turns of the plot. I've seen a few people say this game feels like a Yakuza substory turned into a full game, and while this does ring true to some extent, especially with the man Takaya Kuroda himself voicing our protag, I also feel it does a bit of a disservice to the game as it absolutely has its own identity and feels very fresh and unique. That said, you will feel at home here if you're familiar with the Yakuza series, as the themes, the drama and a lot of the conspiracies the plot deals with feel like they would fit right in, and this is a GREAT compliment to the game! This is a delightful experience that didn't outstay its welcome, I got quite attached to Kaso-Machi and all of its residents and mascots. And while I feel the management side really could've used a little bit more of... everything, it's still an enjoyable aspect of the game that is fun especially for the early game.

Quirky like Paradise Killer, but better gameplay. Overall, I would call the story window dressing. I suppose my biggest complaint is that the money-making mechanic is tough for about 2-3 hours and then becomes irrelevant. The characters are funny enough, but nothing amazing. The music is servicable and decent, though the synth-wave Paradise Killers' OST was better. Movement in the truck is a lot of fun. I think it was wise to allow you to literally go anywhere and do anything. Crashing into things and flipping out were enjoyable, even as the game became a little too fetch-questy. This is an improvement, but still feels like it's missing something to make it genuinely great. I think the card battle system is too simplistic, and the mini-game scenarios get too old too fast. In all, I think if the money-making mechanic was more impactful (by the end, I didn't even send out mascots because I had way too much and upgraded everything), the game would be better for it. The driving, art style, and music will keep you playing, but be warned the gameplay might bore you in the end.

Promise Mascot Agency was incredibly fun to play from start to finish. It's easy to get totally immersed in the town of Kaso-Machi and just have fun driving (and flying) around in your truck while on the job managing and expanding your mascot agency. Our protagonists Michi and Pinky☆ have great comedic chemistry and there's a wide variety of supporting characters who are always fun to interact with. Behind all of it is a gripping story about long-buried secrets and the importance of family, whether that family is an organized crime syndicate or an agency of bizarrely-specific living mascot characters. I can't recommend this game enough.

What a brilliantly written game. It's mostly a visual novel for sure but the story and characters all have quite a detailed background. It definitely has Yakuza story vibes from the sega Yakuza games in the best kind of ways. I highly recommend this to anyone who's enjoyed those games though this one does not have combat, the exploration and adventure and story made it very worth it.

Short Review: I love this game Long Review: I love this game you should buy it and I just wish there was more upgrades to buy (town, truck, agency) especially late game. I want more story after the ending, as well. Basically just give me more of whatever this is. I'd also like to be able to unlock mascot outfits and accessories. There needs to be a BIG reward for 100% completing the game as it's a bit of a slog (right now you get nothing). The map markers for finding the last collectables should show up at 85% instead of 97% (but thanks for having something there at all!).
