Wanted to buy this one as I liked Riptide Renegade and wanted some more of the same to play through. This does miss a "Quick Race" function for singleplayer options, but it does have local multiplayer via splitscreen so that is a bonus. The tracks in Renegade have more going on too however what is here is solid. The upgrade system does hit the right balance of respecting your limited free time but also feeling rewarding. Still looks good too, and is not at all demanding on your system. Did have to manually alter through Steam's "Launch Options" to force the game to run at 4k as without doing this the max it was outputting to the display was 720p - however this may have been a Windows compatibility issue rather than the game itself. If you love arcade style racing games this is for you - kind of reminded me of the game Rise: Race the Future.
