The game was 90% unplayable. Barely even got into any actual gameplay, most time was spent navigating freezes and lagging. Wouldn't respond to attempts to play with mouse/keyboard or with a controller. Couldn't even properly save and quit the game, had to force close through task manager.

I am biased af having put thousands of hours into this game as a child. Absolutely amazing 10/10 masterpiece and I am eagerly awaiting #4. I started out with KH 2 on the ps2 and that started my love for the franchise

It's been over 20 years and this game's story still holds. A tale of friendship, love, and overcoming your fears. The music alone is a masterclass. Yes it's convoluted, but it is so worth the investment. I can't wait for even more Kingdom Hearts in the future.

Would love to give it a great review but it kinda crashes a lot. With no auto save, it makes the game a nightmare to play. Usually crashes after a long fight or long sequence where you couldnt save just screwing your whole progress and making you do a whole fight or two again (Im pretty salty about fighting giant Ursula twice.)
