Though, not all the games/story are actually in this remix. Still the best form of playing most games in this series

I've been playing these games for years, and they’ve become a huge part of my life—so much so, I even have a KH tattoo. This series does an amazing job of blending compelling storytelling with fun gameplay mechanics. That said, I will admit that the first couple of games can be a bit rough to get through (kind of like replaying Mass Effect 1). The camera and jump controls in the first game are atrocious, but if you can push through, the series is absolutely worth it. One of the best things about these games is that they're kid-friendly, so feel free to play them with or in front of your little ones! Also, keep in mind that some of the games have different gameplay styles. For instance, Chain of Memories is a deck-building card game, so if you're not a fan of that, you might want to take note. As for the PC port, there are some crashing issues, but fortunately, users have already shared fixes online. If you're a fan of Disney and Final Fantasy, these games are definitely for you. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

The best value KH game on Steam but seriously they should have sent Birth by Sleep Remix to 2.8 instead of this, that game feels like a scam.

It's been over 20 years and this game's story still holds. A tale of friendship, love, and overcoming your fears. The music alone is a masterclass. Yes it's convoluted, but it is so worth the investment. I can't wait for even more Kingdom Hearts in the future.

Nearly 250 hours of fun ruined by a brick wall of endless crashes mid-way through KH2. Thought I avoided all the technical issues others have had with the games but apparently not. When they work the games are an awesome nostalgia trip but I can't recommend something that could just implode at random rendering all progress null. Skipped the cut scene to play the rest of the game, only for it to crash during the ending movie. Was going to change this review to positive had that not happened too.

The marketing makes it look like this is 6 games updated to 2024, but it's actually just 4 ports and 2 cut-scene (non-games) you can watch on youtube for free. The game finds a way to crash at the worst moments and you lose your saves. Here's what you should do instead of buying this. Download the appropriate playstation emulators and play the games on there for free and watch the cut scenes on youtube. You'll be able to "save state", run the games at 60 fps, and experience no crashes. No reason at all to buy these decades after they first released for a premium price for the sake of nostalgia. If the studio cared about you, they wouldn't do this, so don't feel obligated to pay them.

KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- is a solid package for fans and newcomers alike, especially if you’re into action RPGs. The gameplay is a fun mix of hack-and-slash combat, magic, and Disney charm. Sora’s Keyblade feels great to swing, and the combo system is simple but satisfying, especially when you start unlocking flashier moves and abilities. The magic system adds some nice variety, letting you mix things up with spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder. That said, the older games (like KH1) can feel a bit clunky compared to modern titles—movement and camera controls aren’t always the smoothest. But the updates in the ReMIX versions help a lot, and the combat in KH2 is still top-tier, with faster pacing and more depth. The boss fights are a highlight, offering some real challenge and creativity. On the other hand, I still hate Re:CoM's deckbuilding gameplay and complicated plot. Overall, the gameplay holds up well, and this collection is a great way to dive into the series.
