vey rough all around
rough balance (none?)
rough controls (often glitching out)
rough technical state (looks pretty dated, yet still manages slow downs?)
there is something here
but it is still very far away and i doubt that it will ever see something even close to a "real game" status
A Special Experience for Genre Enthusiasts!
This 3D item-based fantasy roguelike definitely has that "just one more round!" feel. Its non-shooter approach and in-depth item crafting system are particularly well done.
What I Loved:

Addictive item crafting and discovery that you'll sink hours into.

Fluid, responsive, and satisfying combat mechanics.

The fantastic music that truly elevates the game's atmosphere.

The fact that the dev team genuinely listens to community feedback.

Visual effects and UI improvements from recent updates have significantly polished the game.
Minor Areas for Improvement:

It would be great to have different icons on the mini-map for various item or monument types.

In short, if you enjoy this kind of item-focused roguelike game, and especially considering the innovations from recent updates, you should definitely give this one a try. The developers' efforts are commendable!

The game play is is pretty meh as of now. Starting out is MUCH slower/boring than Death Must Die (pretty obvious where the inspiration came from). I'm curious about the Warframe model deity/lord things: recycling is cool, ripping off is not.
Has potential but needs a lot of work to not make it feel like a poor copy of more polished bullet hells.
The shiny graphics are all it has going for it. If the ramp-up were less grindy and slow, that'd be an immediate improvement.
Would benefit from a tutorial or how-to guide that prompts the player (instead of the current method where the player occasionally stumbles across an explanation and hopes it gives more context about what the hey is going on.)
Right now, I'd only be okay paying $5 for this rough of an early access.
I hate tanking potential, so this gets a thumbs-up, but it's on the precipice of getting a No.

I liked the game, of course it has some flaws since it is early access but I can see that the development team is working hard in the background. It seems like this game will reach much better places in about 2-3 months. I will stay tuned and continue playing.

It has potential.
Even someone who isn't familiar with this type of games -like me- can enjoy the gameplay. The atmosphere of the game just beyond good. Especially the music of the game is charming and remember that this is only early access. But there is still room for improvement, for example you don't have a tutorial at the beginning so I couldn't figure out what to do at first and the dash mechanics need a cooldown to make everything more fluid. In overall, this game has potential, good ambiance, enjoyable gameplay mechanics etc. Give it to try.

This game hit me right in the grinding nerve. I launched it for "just 5 minutes to see what it's about" and next thing I know, 2.5 hours have passed. Let me finish Halls of Torment first, and then it’s your turn, Ketz!

A Report from the Dark Side of the Galaxy
Playtime: 10 hours since yesterday. Sleep? Optional.
I was ready to refund the damn thing. Two hours in, I’d had enough.
Missed the refund window by three minutes.
Lucky me.
Now I’m hooked. Deeper than I care to admit.
This game eats time, sanity—and hell, it’s addictive. But like any good drug, Ketz has its side effects. And I’ve sniffed out a few.
#1 – Legendary Loot Flood After Difficulty Bump
First difficulty upgrade. Suddenly I’m drowning in legendary gear like I’m the last heir of a forgotten empire.
Suspect: the “Dual Surge” skill. Might be a magnet for high-tier loot—or just plain broken.
#2 – Controller Users Treated Like Second-Class Citizens
Hover over a skill with the mouse, and affinities glow like neon signs in the void.
Use a controller? Nothing.
No visual hints. No guidance. Just you, the dark, and a dozen choices without context.
#3 – L1/LB Disables Auto-Attack
Tap L1 or LB in the menu, and Auto-Attack just… dies.
You have to restart it manually every time.
Small thing. Big nuisance.
#4 – Final Boss Room = Lag Pit
I stepped into the last boss arena—and time itself stuttered.
3 to 4 seconds of hard lag.
My rig’s modern. Sharp. Ready. This ain’t on my end.
Bottom Line
Ketz: Galactic Overlord has teeth. It bites deep. And it’s got the makings of something big—if it smooths out the rough edges and clears out the ghosts in the machine.
I’m not done.
Because out there, in the cold black of space...
Finding a game this good is rare.

It was a game I had been keeping an eye on. When I saw in the discussions that there were no resolution settings, I held off on buying and waited for updates. Once I saw that the devs were actively pushing updates and listening to players; resolution support was added. I decided to give it a shot. Fans of the genre might want to do the same.

It's like a Death Must Die ugly little brother. Mechanically it's fine, but everything else about it is just kind of off - artstyle is off, progression is off, 'story' or more so any kind of premist is there but also not there, sound is just bleh, abilities are like 'mmmmm kay'

Game will be good one day - as it stands there is not nearly enough content for a paid early access game. If it were free or a buck I would totally rec it. I just cant even at the $8 i paid for it. There are 6 20 minute levels. Thats it. all of the items are basically the same thing and getting rarer tiers is the most important thing because of the roll ranges.
Each character only has one type of basic attack so weapons and skills are rather limited.
I beat the game all the levels in about 5 hours and I messed around with each character that time.
One gear starts dropping, the game breezes by but gear starting out is terrible.
Also there are only like 8 monster types lol
With regular HUGE content updates, this will be a good game. Gonna shelve it and check back in half a year.
