I don't recommend to buy this product it has lot of issues. First time I launched and created Microsoft account and signed in with that account, played little bit then it kicked me out. Tried to login again and then it says "your account is locked". At that moment I plaid 4 hours so steam didn't refund the money, and Microsoft didn't let me to login. other accounts also didn't work as there should be 1 account linked to steam. Surprise!!! You pay $70 and you are unable to play. Steam doesn't want to help at all. They just said we will not refund. I wrote support of Microsoft, created request to remove linked account so I link new account to steam. They removed it, but new 2nd surprise, new account is not linking. I am entering username password, it says we are going to link this account to your steam I am pressing "continue" button then it again prompts sign in popup. Microsoft team doesn't want to accept that it is their application issue. They suggest me steps to remove cached data. It is about 4.5 hours that I am doing their clearing steps and 0 result. Application behaves the same.

Absolutely shameful, literally nothing in this game works. Never have I gone through a single flight in this game where everything has worked as intended. Before each flight, I spend 10 minutes trying to figure out which of my keybinds have been reset for no apparent reason. What a waste of an amazing opportunity.

Totally dysfunctional game. I've never played such before. Career mode is broken so you can't control the plane. Regardless of which airport you choose you'll end up at the same one on the other side of the globe. You can't quit the game afterwards. Reseting your career won't change anything. And that's not all the problems the game has. I've been waiting for fixes for half a year and the game is in exactly the same state as when it launched.

When this game launched 7 months ago it was a high profile disaster. Now that Sim Update 2 has been released i'm pleased to say the sim is stable, loads relatively quickly and runs fine. If you have big investment in the 2020 system ecosystem it may still not be time to migrate, but hopefully its not too far away for you if the case. I eagerly await the FBW A380. The biggest and most notable change is the lighting, it looks fantastic. Flying at dawn and twilight, through the clouds will never get old in this game. At the base game level there's a nice choice of aircraft, if you are new I recommend the Cirrus Vision Jet, it gives you all the convenience of an airliner in an easy to fly small plane. The flight planner website is also great, I don't even use SimBrief anymore. Not to say there aren't still some gripes through, and there are some pretty big ones for me. 1. You can't import flight plans into the airbuses from the flight planner. Seriously? 2. Scenery streaming can be garbage, even with a decent internet connection. Many a time I've taken off in nice looking scenery, only to arrive at my destination a few hours later for the scenery to look like crap 3. The career mode is tedious. Some people love it so your mileage will vary but 1 scenery flight was enough for me, i ain't grinding. Also it throws you around the world taking away some of the immersion. But gripes aside I have no issue recommending this sim now.

2020 is a game that they will build on for decades to come they said. we won't need a new game because we can just build on this one. oh wait. we are coming out with a new game. that crashes the moment I load into a plane. running a 50 series card and 128gigs of ram and the best possible CPU you can buy? good luck. she still won't run. VR? forget about it. turn it on and it crashes. I've been coming into this once a month since launch and it's still mostly broken. 6 months later. then I go back to 2020 for 3-4 weeks which is.... one of the worst optimized games I've ever used. but hey... here we are. at least that thing is use-able. this thing is so impressive and shows so much promise. but unless you've got everything at the lowest possible setting you can't use it. and even when you do that, it'll crash 50% of the time. great job.

I'm very unsatisfied with the overall state of this sim. As a long time simmer I went for the aviator edition right away because I just want it all, which that's a massive price for a piece of software to start with, but then right at launch the game (as in career) was completely unplayable for me, there was a brief period of time when I could actually enjoy the career mode but that's long passed because of constant bugs and issues with the game. But as a simmer I am not really in it for that game part, so about the sim itself: It's nowhere near optimized enough to be viable. I have a fairly good setup and especially nowadays I know that most gamers will not be able to build a computer like this for reasonable money either, yet the sim is laggy and jittery all the time. I appreciate eye candy, but not at the cost of having all the immersion destroyed because everything is jittering or immense framedrops below playable frames during landing etc. This sim has a lot to fix before I would recommend switching to it. It's very sad to see that every new release of a game is now just an alpha/beta test for the masses draining your joy and happiness for the new game before you can even get it all fixed up. For now I will wait and see and try it again.

I'm new to the whole flight sim world and after seeing some yt videos was intrigued to play something new. I rarely write reviews but just felt i had to write something for this game. Let me start off by saying that flight sims are amazing. it's way more fun than expected and the learning experience with every plane and basically learning to fly is an amazing experience. The Game: Brilliant game! the plane models are beautifully done and the world is awesome, it's like google earth but tweaked a bit and it works really well. flying, all the controls, toggles, switches, skills, etc is pretty sweet, especially if your new. I've played for the past few days so far and am consistently getting graded A - S on flights, learning new planes quickly (you have to kind of prep before you fly and understand each plane is different in take off/ landing/ etc.) and overall enjoying flight sims. Overall, great experience. HOWEVER, there are some serious game breaking issues with this game that in my opinion are atrocious and shameful, especially for a $70 MICROSOFT game. - AI. The obvious and extensive use of AI in this game is straight up absurd. Its obvious AI was used for Voice, Air fields, missions, npc's, radio and honestly probably everywhere. If it was done right, i'd be ok with it, but its done BADLY. The voice acting is so obvious that it's cringe. improper grammar, robot statements, wrong pronunciation, etc is just annoying during certain flights. Even before take off you have to radio in and your character will say he will take off facing south, but the run way runs east west... like bro. The flight crew or airstrip staff all float about half a foot off the ground... the little cut scenes are JANKY, stuff just appears or zips around as you watch. Air strips sometimes aren't conforming... sometimes you will spawn in a mission at take off and you are either blocked by trees to get to the run way or there's a mountain right at the end of it and you have to do some crazy stuff to take off correctly (1 star difficulty apparently). - Load screens. Bro, the game is 8 gbs and im no developer, but this is not some crazy advanced game that requires 2-3 minutes of load screens that go to basically nothing. it's kind of crazy... if you skip flight prep, which is taking off a few covers from the plane and getting in, it can be a 10-15 second loading time... LOL. bro... what the actual f. - Communications. Pretty rough as stated above.. it throws you off sometimes but it is what it is. - Missions. Clearly AI was used for credits/finances on here and everyone knows chatgpt is not good at math. when you choose a mission it will say it pays 5,000 Credits. After you complete the mission a breakdown appears and somehow the payout jumps to 20,000 credits, minus employer commission 19,500 and you get 500 credits. ?????? where do these numbers come from ??????? - Glitches & Bugs. The sheer amount of bugs and glitches are actually astonishing for a game that has such a heavy focus on precision. Cars and NPC's on the runway or airstrip will go in front of you as you are heading to take off, sometimes you have to taxi through a building or stationairy airplane, the flight path doesnt line up with the gps, at start of missions stuff just appears and bounces around and the cutscenes... are bad. The game has career mode with economics, player level, certifications and reputation level, which is fantastic. it's really what made me want to try the game however, rep level is important and very hard to level up, you get a tiny bit of progress per successful mission. If you get unlucky like i did and you "skip" the taxi part after landing and your plane appears on the roof of a hangar with no chance to correct, it will be counted as a CRASH and you will lose exp, credits and a MASSIVE amount of reputation. This is pretty game breaking. 1 crash, even though not your fault and a glitch in the game, can revert literally hours of rep xp. The shady and lazy use of AI, amount of glitches and bugs for a precision based game, zero polish and a $70 price tag is just ridiculous for this game. There is obviously a community of fans for this game but if people keep defending developers that make games like this they will just keep getting worse. What makes all of this worse is that there's a marketplace in game for micro transactions... The game is clearly not finished and probably not even being worked on. This will be the last MSFS i will ever buy and unfortunately passed the limit for a refund. DO NOT BUY.

Steaming pile of horse shit. Do career mode they said it will be fun they said... Grind thru the bugs just to get your first aircraft just to have it glitch out and say you have crashed. What shit the gaming industry has gone too. Lets charge more for incomplete games.

Im going to put my two cents out there for this game. For starters I am actually a pilot. I use flight simulators to stay proficient in flying and try to have some fun in between. Having said that I really feel that the developers of 2024 dropped the ball in so many areas. My biggest issues are the bugs in the game. I can look past some of these, but its been over six months of playing this game and more are presenting themselves and fewer are getting fixed. It makes playing the career mode almost impossible in some aspects. Not to mention the actual game play is laughable in so many ways. Things like airport operations or how you communicate on the radio. I would love to know how the developers researched these areas. A good portion of the game is AI when it comes to these. The AI is just awful thats all I can say about it. Next is the fact that the game itself isnt complete. Things like the Red bull air racing and Reno air races arent even available. One of the reasons I bought the game was because of them. I bought every plane you could in 2024. It really bothers me that nearly every general aviation plane like the 172 or Bonanza has a glass cockpit in it. It seems the developers became lazy with it and just said this is 2024 all planes must have this technology in it, lets just put it in the game. I also just call this a game at this point. Its so far from a simulator its kind of sad. I think the career mode and the activities is an awesome idea. Maybe theyll fix some issues and itll become playable, I have my hopes. I just hope it doesnt take 3 or 4 years, then theyre ready to release a 2030 flight simulator. After this disaster I wont be buying into it. If anyone cares about my opinion on this game, Its alot of money for some redeeming qualities but alot of headache at times. If your a fellow pilot, It definitely gives some laughs but stick with Xplane for a home simulator.
