Great story, some sensitive subject matter is handled well, has replay value and will probably have even more after the 2026 update. Scarier than I expected, with some heartfelt and hilarious moments in between to counteract how bleak and horrifying the game can be at times. Quite possibly my favorite indie game ever. It's worth the full price, and I'd buy it for full price to support the devs. Definitely will follow new releases from them.

Great game. the gameplay was really cool, the plot was very good and well explained, I loved all the Mitas and their distintics personalities. the camera view option was really useful for parts where you need to find objects, cartridges or just being able to bright up the places and take a look more in details. The achievements were fairly good, not to hard not to easy. the cartridges expand the miside world and explain more in deep how crazy mita achieve her things and knowledge. the mitas cartridges were cool too as they give you a explanation about them. and the mita's outfits were cool but i think could have been better-ish. the game have its spooky parts such as the dummies and more others and in general it has a good horror. this game is a i would recomment 100%

[b]The game itself isn't bad. This is a situation where I wish Steam would allow neutral reviews, instead of just like or dislike. My main issue is that the gameplay is very different than what I expected based on the store page (though it's possible I just wasn't being careful enough when weighing my purchase).[/b] This is not something in a similar vein to DDLC or other story-based psychological horror games. There is a story to the game, yes, but it doesn't strike me as the point of gameplay. The point is to survive and escape by running and hiding, with some short minigames in between to lighten things back up. Example (without spoiling anything related to the story): [spoiler]there is an entire chapter that uses the P.T. time loop style, and then something comes out and chases you.[/spoiler] If you like horror games similar to Resident Evil and the like, you will enjoy this game. The problem is that I bought it with a certain idea of what I was getting into because of the store page tags (which Steam uses to indicate that I own similar games), and it wasn't really applicable. I enjoy horror where I can be unnerved or scared because of immersion in the story, and this simply does not provide that. "Story Rich" should not be attached to this game. The character (characters?) are more or less standees to provide worldbuilding and move you from segment to segment. If the point was "they're not real so they don't have much beyond the surface", then it was done wonderfully. I am almost done with my first playthrough and will be finishing it just to see it through. I am currently stuck on the last action segment (was hoping I could puzzle my way out of it, nope) but I'll be returning to brute force my way through it at a later date. I will not be playing it over again to search for collectibles, and to be honest I wouldn't buy it at all if I could go back. To be clear, this is a well-made game and definitely has a strong vision behind it, but the promotional content focuses on the minor parts of the game and not the whole. You need to watch the WHOLE promotional video to see what your actual gameplay is going to look like. Beyond the first minute, at least. It drops the whole "dating sim" thing VERY early on, and you're left with the usual "I am being hunted and I want to go home" with the occasional new version of the same character to ask a handful of lore questions to or to play a 45-second rhythm game, short mortal combat minigame, etc. [b]TLDR: A decent game with a solid vision and build, but absolutely not what I thought I was buying when I purchased. I don't personally feel I got my money's worth out of my purchase, but if you enjoy more traditional forms of horror, you very well may. Don't use the tags or Steam's recommendations to determine whether you buy; watch the entire promo video (the actual gameplay starts around a minute in) and decide that way.[/b]

I think this game can best be described as a mix between doki doki literature club and PT. super cool, you can really tell how much time and love the devs put into it.

I actually got fooled Happened to catch some cute TikToks of this game when it released and got curious. I also somehow managed to not read the tags of this game thinking it was some kind of girlfriend sim hoppin on and started going thru it. Going through the Mita introduction I thought the game gots some kind of other tastes with the cockroaches at the start and when mita cracked and seeing as I had ONE obj unlocked I got floored with the horror started cowering inna corner and shit. locked in and started enjoying the game I realised was horror. but what I really enjoy is the Russian dialogue dub idk they just sound really soothing.

And you really want to find out what's inside. And trust me, the content will surprise you.[/i] [h3][i]Plot.[/i][/h3] When I first saw a streamer playing this, I thought it is just another anime-style tamagotchi game. And since I'm a big fan of these type of games, I immediately bought it and decided to play it myself. And how wrong I was. You can't imagine how I got confused after realizing that this is a horror game. No spoilers here, I'll just say that the idea is brilliant. The developers, with a budget of 2 packs of instant noodles, created a truly masterpiece game, the kind of experience that stays with you for life. The plot unfolds at breakneck speed with so many twists you'll constantly be shocked by what's happening on screen. And by incorporating countless fetishes, it manages to appeal to nearly everyone. Here we will get into the virtual world, and hug an anime girl, and save the world, well, what more could you want? [h3][i]Gameplay.[/i][/h3] An interesting plot is of course good, but what about gameplay. Everything is at its best here, the gameplay includes everything that is possible, like solving puzzles, fighting monsters, stealth sections, and... playing cards with Cappie, [i][b]ohhh![/b][/i]. Many times. Literally from everything, as I progressed. The graphics here are unique, 3D objects with 2D outlines in soft pastel tones, and custom shadows (you can even make them in heart-shaped patterns). And with all this, the game goes as smoothly as possible and without a single lag. Praise to the developers for such optimization. [h3][i]Final.[/i][/h3] In the end, the authors not only created a popular game, but gave us a whole world, with its own story and many cute and beautiful characters. Playing MiSide, you are surprised by every moment, sincerely and childishly. You want everything to work out, for everyone to be happy, and you try your best to make it happen. The game seems to erase the border between the real world, allowing you to fully immerse yourself and enjoy the atmosphere. Huge respect to the developers for such a high-quality product, for an example to others of how to make games and for Mita, which has become truly native to many. We are looking forward to the update with a free mode and hope that there will be even more cool content.
