Can feel a bit rough around the edges at times, but it's a 4x with a lot of pew pew involved. You can fight battles both in space and on the ground. Great for people who prefer to interact with other factions through "full contact diplomacy".

I played the first version, and it was awesome. Now... how did we get here? From 'pause,' to 'play,' to 'end of turn,' this game’s doing laps! It’s more fun when you can pause and play in real-time—when you’re not drowning in bugs. Like, you end your turn, a pop-up menu appears, and the game’s just partying in the background like it didn’t get the memo. And don’t get me started on the micromanagement. Manually explore? Manually colonize? What is this—downgrade simulator?
But let’s be real. If you love Stardrive, you’re gonna buy it anyway. Resistance is futile.

Unfortunately i can not get the game to load after it starts and the unity screen pops up game crashes.. im running a 13900 with 64 gb ddr5 ram and rtx 4090 and totally wish i could play the game .. is there nobody who can mod and fix it so it runs please

Bought this game back when i first seen it in a YouTube video over a little space 4X with custom ships and races. Was fun until some time around the windows 10 push for updates that resulted in the game not running for me or several others from what the reviews show. Loved the game until the DLC disabled some of the content as well as threw some of the race bonus away without modifying them to fit the then reworked balance. I have not been able to play this game for about 3 years so far and i have kinda wrote this off as a unplayable game. Buyer beware you may not be able to run on your system.
