I really enjoy this game. It's very approachable, and encourages you to take your time. The earliest part of the game is very nice, and thoroughly encourages exploration, talking to the other characters, and experimenting with the things you can find. The economy of the game is much slower, and definitely encourages processing over raw bulk of sale. The game is adorable, and I hope you have a good time with it!

TL;DR: BUY THIS INDIE GAME! It's well worth your money. If you're unsure, play the demo and/or read my full review below. As of rn, I've completed the "main" mission and got 22 out of the 35 achievements. I'll continue to play for the other achievements, but decided to take the time to write a review for this wonderful and kind of obscure cozy game. English is my second language, so please excuse any grammatical errors, I'm trying my best. First of all, I think the reviews not recommending it because the devs "abandoned" the game are kinda misleading and VERY unfair. Yes, Little-Known Galaxy hasn't been updated for some time, but that isn't a deal breaker when the game is completed and there isn't really any (major) bugs. The story they wanted to tell and the game they set out to make are 100% finalized. It'd be lovely to have extra content, but that's exactly it: it would be EXTRA. If you're afraid of buying an incomplete product, don't be: the product is very much complete. I have a lot of thoughts, but they're all positives. I'll put then in bullet points for better visualization: - Starting with the best part of Little Known Galaxy: the atmosphere. The ship is wonderfully designed and it's a joy to look at. After so many cozy games in tiny little green farms, it's an awesome change of pace and I definitely fell in love with all the nooks and crannies of the ship. I was even inspired to read and write some sci-fi! - The story is lovely. The characters are wonderfully quirky and there's a good batch of bachelors and bachelorettes. I've married Jimmy, but Shinji and Daxton also tickled my fancy and I think there's diversity to catter to a lot of different tastes. - The gameplay loop is nice. It's a bit grindy, I'll admit, but that's not the end of the world. Considering the lenght of the main story, the grind is bearable and the achievements are worth it. Upgrading tools, fixing the ship and discovering the planets are all very rewarding activities. I wasn't ever bored. The only "con" I think of is the missed oportunity for more, I guess, but if the game wasn't as financially viable as the devs needed it to be, it's not their fault. I fell in love so hard that I wanted more, but what I got was amazing. There isn't more right now, but that doesn't make the experience any less deserving of a recommendation. If you love cozy games like Stardew Valley, you'll for sure love Little-Known Galaxy! It's familiar enough, but so very different in its presentation. I'll follow the devs next projects', if they make any (and I really hope they do, because they got a new fan!). Carbon & Kay bought a lot of good will from me based on this experience.

This game turned out to be really fun. I played the demo and liked it, but after I bought the full game and kept going it got even better. It starts a bit grindy before you get the micro organism finder, and the first month it feels like you run out of things to do by around 3 o'clock each day, but after you get a little more energy and a few more things to do, each day is full and fun! It was fun to fix up my ship and meet all the people aboard. I really really enjoyed this game and I recommend it!
