Very good game, with an amazing story. The battles are fun, and beating them on harder difficulties was very rewarding. The crafting and RPG systems were simple but meaningful, with upgrades that real impact your performance.

This is an exemplary demonstration of a great idea executed perfectly.
Seriously, this game is amazing, from the pixel art to the catchy music that stayed in my head (in a good way) all day during the week I played it, to the funny writing. The devs stuck to their premise and went all in. This breathes love for the Super Sentai series I grew up with, with the ridiculous plots, reuse of environments, the poses and overuse of acrobatics, it's all there, and it's quite endearing!
Apart from the theme, the gameplay is also deeper than you would think, with crafting that is essential, the improvement of your studio, marketing contracts that will give you various bonuses, etc. The game will appear very easy at first, but can become challenging by the end.
I couldn't stop playing it when I started, until the end of the story that was a Greatest Hits of everything the game is (it took me a little bit over 16 hours to complete my first run). There seems to be some replayability apparently with different endings, but for now I'll leave it as that and come back to it when the urge comes.
For the asked price, that's honestly a steal, because it's a lot of fun and I can tell how much work has been put into it, and that's A LOT.
This went immediately into my list of the games I will remember fondly.

I played this a long time ago, really enjoyed it, took a huge break, then played it to completion having fun the whole way through. I do think it could use some QoL tweaks, like confirmations on move or undo button. But I deeply vibe with this game on many levels. Grew up on Power Rangers, loved the Genesis game. This game even today is such a solid throw back to the genre and a truly enjoyable game, story and mechanics. Recommend it for the niche group that loves those old Super Sentai-type shows and tactical RPGs with fun team mechanics. You truly feel in control of the whole production too.
