Knock-knock Reviews

There is an unusual cabin deep in the woods. It had served as a laboratory and a dwelling for three generations of Lodgers. But as of late the latest Lodger has been noticing weird changes in familiar surroundings; things are missing, noises and rattle heard. Something odd is coming out of the woods.

Playtime: 283 minutes
The idea was interesting but it's horribly executed, way too many issues with this game to enjoy it consistently : - No rewarding playstyle in the dream section, if you hide in the same room you get punished with 5 minutes of pure boredom, if you decide to explore you will most likely once or twice end up with a TP into a haunter that will send you back to the beginning or spawn a couple of frustrating NASCAR bed that will waste your time. Luck is too much of a strong factor - Which is very bad considering that if you end up with an empty health bar before reaching the end of the game, you're softlocked into a gameover - You can actually start with a room with a banging door, essentially forcing you to restart a dream section - Bugged interaction with the Girl in the forest occasionally, forcing you to find her multiple times in the same section - If you die in the Forest you have to endure the Lodger's multiple monologue with no way of skipping it Not an exhaustive list I'm not recommending this game, unless you really like psyche horror games. It's not polished enough and too frustrating at times.
