There are some good components to this game, but so many more that are terrible. It has fun co-op mechanics and puzzles that require teamwork and coordination, which is fun. However, the game is riddles with insanely frustrating mechanics. Enemies that chain CC you, preventing you from playing the game as you’ll often die and have to wait for a respawn anyway. Challenges can be fun, but the way they’re implemented are so poorly designed. You can’t see what the challenge is until you beat the level once, making it so you’re more than likely going to play each level more than once. Some challenges are actually more time consuming than the time trial itself, so you’re for sure required to play the level more than once. Some challenges don’t even seem like they were thought through at all. Time trials are not balanced. It seems as though the devs just placed an arbitrary number. Some levels you have 2+ minutes, others you barely scrape by with only a few seconds to spare. The game was also riddled with bugs. From UI being stuck on your screen, not being able to move, not being able to cast your abilities, to having your ability cooldown timers client side and not really reflect what the real timer is. Also terribly optimized. Lag spikes happen every other second. Sometimes even freezing your game for multiple minutes at a time. Every single character has abilities that lags you and other players. Overall, the game had potential, but so many poor game decisions and designs made it more frustrating than enjoyable.
