If you like any of those repetitive task simulators you'll know that these games live and die by the sound design. This game absolutely fucking nails it. Picking up notes has a lovely swish noise that it is impossible to get sick of. Also special mention to the sound of a single engine plane that plays occasionally, that triggered some deep memories.

A fun, casual grinding type of game kind of similar to Viscera Cleanup Detail or Powerwash Simulator. I really noticed the polish put into this game unlike other similar titles that feel more like asset flips (looking at you, TCG Shop Sim). I feel like after you finish the story there isn't really a big push to keep playing (for me, anyway) but that's honestly not a bad thing. The gameplay loop is fresh and keeps you hooked for a while. I recommend this game, even at full price, no sale needed. I feel like I could totally come back after a few big updates and sink another 20-30 hours at least. I do wish that this game would have had co-op but I know that's not very easy to implement and it probably will mess with the gameplay loop a bit. Pro-tip: You can clean ink-stained cash by washing and drying it on the soft cycle. I figured this out a little too late into my playthough but hopefully this helps someone else.

Cash Cleaner Simulator is fun and plays well, but I can't recommend it due to the extremely high CPU temperatures it causes on AMD processors. If and when this issue gets fixed, I’ll gladly update my review to a recommendation.

There's something therapeutic about this game. I actually paid attention to the story and will probably play it again. Ran on max settings, borderless window mode on an ultrawide with a mid-range GPU. Had no issues with the interface being hard to navigate because of ratio problems. The only performance hit I took was when I loaded three pallets up with cash. I got quite a bit of stuttering at that point, but only when I was in the vicinity of one of the pallets. Once the pallet was half way cleared, performance returned to normal. Very well made game, very thoughtful and fun design.

Surprisingly addictive, but in the good way. A perfect second-screen game while you listen to a true-crime podcast. This game is, however, an Early Access title despite the store page not saying this. There's a massive roadmap, and a few locked objects in the game that say 'out of order' and will be added in future updates. I'm not unhappy enough with this to give a negative review, however the devs absolutely need to mark this as Early Access.

No matter what the version number says: This is an early access game. It is not finished. Because of the machines that are supposed to be added in future updates there is A LOT of manual labor to do. Especially with marked money, you have to sort hundreds of bank notes manually one by one (if you want to do it right) When future updates are released it will be a nice game (still with lots of menial tasks, but this is fine)

Be me. Download a silly 'crime" game you saw on YouTube figuring you might get a few hours of fun out of it. Then after game play starts time "ceases to exist" for 16 hours, until someone comes to check on you. The gameplay loop is super satisfying. The sound design hits my ADHD squirrel brain just right. I enjoy this game so much, I am literally afraid to play it. 12 out of 10 would recco...I genuinely lost my train of thought there.

This is less of a don't recommend and more a don't recommend yet. Early game is great, very satisfying and good progression , but after a certain point progression drops off a cliff and the game becomes kind of monotonous, with no automated ways of dealing with several of the games mechanics(marked money, inked money, sorting counterfeit money that isn't dollars.) The announcement of a road map of more features is great but at the time of writing this feels under baked for a 1.0 game. Looking forward to playing this again in the future and hopefully changing this to a recommend.

"Another quirky simulator." Yes. "I bet it's just asset-market slop." No. "Oh another game about indentured servitude. At least do something original." It does. A game about counting money has NO RIGHT to be this addictive and engaging. Each job begins with getting money dropped into your enclosure from a height, leaving you to pick through the wet and dirty bills, the ammo casings, the litter, the coins and process them into neat stacks (per denomination) of clean, crisp, unmarked and legitimate bills - then sit back and admire your work. Get paid in crypto to upgrade your tools and living area. However, the more fastidious you are, the more of the client's hard cash you have spare after giving them their cut, and you can start to pile up reserves of processed cash to a) make the next job easier and b) buy your way to freedom from the fem-dom Tom Nook-type character who rules your existence. Take jobs when you're ready, and time limits are generous or non-existent, so you can really relax and band up bills at your leisure. If you get a kick from automation and management sims, or the more detail-orientated sims like Viscera Cleanup Detail and Fast Food Simulator, (i.e. making processes work just right no matter what obstacles the game throws into the mix) then I'd recommend it as an instant purchase for you.
