I think this is the ONLY game I have ever played so little and felt like I should leave a review. I respect those "real" reviews that have more playtime, but here's mine (abridged, just like my playtime).
Not fully or properly translated. Misrepresented as a city builder, but it's an idle social game instead. Messages in the game glitch, are missing, and are poorly translated. The game is a mess, at least the English version is.

Approach this more as interactive art rather than a serious simulation game (if you're looking for something similar but more complex, I suggest "Workers and Resources Soviet Republic"). The artwork is beautiful, if somewhat anachronistic - for example, shipping containers weren't yet common in the time period (1950s-1970s) that the game is set in. You'll get more out of this game and find it easier if like me you can read at least some Chinese and/or know modern Chinese history. The game is poorly and only partially translated but that is part of the charm.
Gameplay is simple - build farms to produce crops, click on farms to harvest them (this can be automated), sell the crops at the market to make money, build housing to get more workers. The game gives a continuous set of mini-missions and goals that guide you in developing the village. The only challenge is that every few minutes, 3-5 feral hogs will run across the village, messing up your farms, though it's only a minor inconvenience. You can hire a militia to shoot the feral hogs and then sell the hog meat.
This is the first city builder game I've seen that is set in mid-20th century China, I hope the game devs can continue to improve it and make a sequel set in the 1980s-2010s.
