Definitely recommend, but with some warnings. I really hope this game has continued development because I love the concept. I wouldn't write all this if I didn't want to see improvement and come back later. Overall, 10 hours of fun was worth the $9 I spent on it. If I can come back later for some more, that would be amazing. It's a fast paced card game with a ton of RNG, which can be very annoying at times. You basically are planting crops and building pastures that produce items. Those items can be combined in a variety of processing structures to create things like milk, peanut butter, bread, 'n such. There is an ever increasing tax that must be paid every so many days or you go into debt, and the next turn you lose the game. It can be a lot of fun to run through the cards trying to build up a manufacturing assembly line to create the most advanced products. It's definitely a challenge to get everything laid out correctly so that the different products can come into the processing chain. Overall, the game is a lot of fun for what it has to offer. It became stale rather quickly to me because I felt like progress suddenly came to a halt because I've been struggling to do the niche achievements for unlocks. It's not that i don't understand what to do, it's more that I'm getting boned by RNG in my runs. There isn't a lot of alternative options, either you get what you need or you don't. Many items are simply not useful at all, yet. ---- My major complaints RNG is too brutal. I need a way to ban cards or shop for specific things. The processing chains are too specific to leave it entirely to RNG. The entire loot pool is always available at all times no matter what you do, and that loot pool is MASSIVE so it's very common to get bogged down in poor draws. Genetic booster buff crops, but those crops do not go on to become more valuable when refined. Genetic booster + Antenna spam > processing chains every single time. It's difficult to tell what items are being sent to which structures and where they're going after that. The processing chains are messy and there is nothing that helps. Navigating the screen is very glitchy and difficult. I can't hover often my things to see what is being made, it glitches like way too much. The same with right clicking structures. Many items are just not worth investing into, they are essentially 'curse' cards. They don't provide enough value or are so ultra niche that they can't be stacked/synergy with other things to produce high tier value. All meta content is locked behind completely very specific niche achievements.

Well, more complicated this gets, way more frustrating it is. Trying to get production lines up. You need to either remember them all or with many clicks check from ingame wiki. And when can's difference is shade of brown, no tool tips on machines. arhg... Maybe next patch should be quality of life stuff only? Make everything more clear and all that, tool tips. Like when you place a juicer, it would highlight all the crop on the range that it can use. But in the end, very good, lots of good times had with this. Some times those missing tool tips are difficult to understand. So Nothing wrong that cant be fixed and developed into a diamond.

I think I have enough hours in this game, so why not leave a review. What can I say, love the game. It has quite a steep learning curve, but once you understand the mechanics of the game it becomes more of a puzzler. There are so many different combinations/builds to explore, some more complex and some are honestly just strange. What keeps me coming back is always :"what If I try x next game? Does those cards combine? Can I abuse the system somehow?" It's great fun and the community is great as well!

The game UI is a mess and is really bad at explaining why certain things are not happening. Might be solved by having the ability to rotate the content of an island so that you can see the other structures. Or better yet an island inspect so you can see the structures and interact with them more clearly. Or even better, a recipe tree that grows as your items flow, with indicators and recipe blockers right in the tree. It is so easy to lose track of why some ingredients do not process like you thought they would. Also pressing next turn with stuff to sell, should auto sell and then proceed, instead of game over. Or a pop-up, you still have stuff to sell, give up? I am really looking forward to seeing this game improve further, but for now it is a thumbs down because there is just so much unclarity.
