Great game, exactly what I was looking for!

Fun survival crafting game with boss fights that can be quite challenging at times. There aren't any levels, it's gear-based, and [most of the] higher tier gear is gated behind the bosses. I haven't beaten the game yet, but I've also been taking my time. :D The demo gives a good idea of what to expect for combat and building/crafting.

Awesome little game! I can tell the dev put a lot of work into the tons of different systems. Pros: - clean aesthetic with low poly objects that let the lighting do the heavy work. - very nice streamlined quest system that helps you discover the game and all of the things you can build. - quite unique theme based on Kowloon. - gorgeous night sky. Cons: - not very atmospheric / immersive - enemies don't feel very threatening

The game is pretty fun, but I will say I'm glad I got it when it was on sale. At the time of this review, the game isn't even finished. I put in just over 6 hours, probably a decent bit was AFK, too, and got to "the end" where it just says to check back in the next update. I probably wouldn't have bought the game quite yet if it had said Early Access, which it should if it isn't finished yet. It's fairly fun game-play, you hit things and get loot, upgrade your loot and hit more things. The theme and aesthetic is cool, but I rarely remembered it was supposed to be inspired by Kowloon unless I was on the rooftops. Having a few more details (other than small fenced off balconies) in the floors beneath the rooftops would be nice. Some areas of the game feel unbalanced, to the point where you get stuck in a death loop just trying to get your loot back. (There is a setting to turn off your loot dropping on death) Your loot bag that drops will not save if you decide to leave the game, so any unique items you had will be gone forever. (Jade accessories...) The spawn-rate and aggro range of enemies is very frustrating, too. Having to leave an area because you're too weak, and then coming back later and being bombarded by all the same enemies that were there before is rough. Enemies from lower floors can come all the way up to the Top Floors, too. All in all, I had a few hours of fun, but the game doesn't feel worth $15 to me at this point in development. I see the vision and hope you keep developing, but it definitely needs some more work.
