Scarred is a masterpiece of storytelling held back by many bugs and issues with gameplay (some of which HAVE been fixed since my time of playing). That said it's worth the investment of time and money on the story alone.
Pros
+ Astonishingly good storytelling for an indie game
+ Tense unpleasant scenes keep you on the edge of your seat
+ A real mystery till the end
+ Smart puzzles that make sense
Cons
- At the time of release at least lots of bugs although many of these have been fixed now
- Some sections feel over ambitious and combat likely wasn't needed at all
- Stealth feels janky and unpolished

Hard for me to really recommend in all honesty. Thumbs up just to be supportive and encouraging, but hope the devs provide better in the future. The story is ok, gameplay and puzzles are meh, but it does have some new concepts (at least to me). Not really scary, nothing really jumpscares or simmers beneath which will eventually settles into your mind. Also, the puzzles are kind of absurd and huge time waster. I try to remain positive.
I give a little recap of the story in this video.

4 fps cutscenes due to my bad gpu, but really nice story, loved it
There's some bugs but the quicksave is really reliable, so even if I got softlocked it didn't set me too far back

Been playing this game for a few hours, I love the story so far but the game glitches and occasional crashes, especially during the the part when you're finally outside and a cutscene happens is game breaking. I was streaming this game knowing it's still very new, but the crash in that particular section has even managed to crash my OBS while streaming.
I don't know if I can recommend this game yet, but hopefully with a few more fixes, this game will be playable enough for me to stream. I do love the story the game has, but the game mechanics and bugs really throw me off at the moment. I will change the rating once I'm able to get through the game without any crashes.
*EDIT* So I tried to run the game again while streaming, hopefully to run it on lower settings to possibly bypass the crashes if it was a graphical issue... The game crashed at startup and even fucked up my OBS program, so yeah. And now I can't even stream any steam games with my OBS without it crashing immediately.
I can't recommend the game at its current state, but I hope that the developers are working on fixing the issue.
