My people, if you are still alive, please note that this game does not support 4:3 or 5:4 monitors. I wish I didn’t have to mark it down just to bring it into focus, but the facts are the facts.

I’ll begin by saying I’m far from good and souls likes whatsoever, but this game was the perfect balance between easy enough to not make me want to break something and hard enough to make victory feel rewarding. I will say I did find a big accidentally for the final boss's first phase that allows you to essentially scum the fight but that’s besides the point. The controls are incredibly easy to learn and tutorials are offered quite frequently as well as other versions of training. The soundtrack was top tier and will definitely be added to my playlists. The story was short and simple but made me tear up near the end. There are the normal upsets that come with the genre but are mainly my fault like misreading attacks and the such but they never took away from the experience. All together, the game is short(I finished in about two nights of play) but very enjoyable.

extremely fun game if you're craving good parry-based bosses with other mechanics to play around with. if you enjoy games like nine sols (what personally lead me here) or sekiro (presumably) and just want a microcosm of the very well-designed boss fights, this is the game for you. story is short and sweet, music is great. the only bad thing is the price, even on a sale, because I finished all that I needed and wanted to in less than 10 hours, but I can say I had a hell of a lot of fun.

Very creative bosses and fluid combat system. It's on the higher end of the difficulty spectrum, but imo it's a nice challenge.

Nano Apostle was my first real experience with this kind of game and I gotta say it was a crazy experience. The bosses are all super fun to fight once you get the hang of everything. The story while simple is still very nice to have and makes for some very endearing and decently emotional moments. And of course it helps you a lot to connect to Anita, Kuro and Wenny. My only complaint would be that I now have to look for a new game in this direction.
