If you like Balatro, this one's for you. This one's a great game even for those (like me) who should't be at a Blackjack Table to begin with

It's a really good game, it combines blackjack and D&D. It's a fun game with several different ways to win and play. My favorite deck has to be the Glitched Deck as you always have to take your chances with what the glitched card is going to become. I like dungeon crawlers and the combination of different cards to create a good deck is really good.

Extremely luck based has pretty much no skill involved, later bosses especially have stupid tactics which make it impossible to win especially the greed boss which just infinitely gets more armor than you can damage through and will win even if you have a winning hand of black jack every single round which i did by locking an ace and a queen.

Artful take on the rougelike card genre, very different from balatro and the like due to being blackjack based.
Sticks to blackjack pretty well all things considered, goal is usually to still get 21 (or other numbers) and you have limited cards and control of drawing or standing

the best way to describe it is thats its like the yugioh anime where everyone is basically making up the rules as they go.

This game had the unfortunate circumstance of releasing just a short while after Balatro. Although it is also a twist on a popular existing card game, Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers is able to reinterpret blackjack in a way that is completely different than how Balatro redefines poker.

This is alright I guess. Except blackjack is more luck than skill, and all the cards are okay but random.
It's not Balatro levels of card deck building hype but its alright. Even Jimbo himself is referenced in the game as an actual card. So ain't that funny.

This game isn't "Balatro but Blackjack" so much as a roguelike adventure game with a modified form of Blackjack as its means of combat. As you play, you'll encounter opponents who each have their own gimmicks you'll need to learn to overcome, and you'll need to decide where to go and what to do as you progress deeper into its world. Buy it if you like Blackjack, roguelikes, or text-and-graphics adventure games, and don't be afraid of its challenge.

It's pretty good. It's not Balatro but it's a great blackjack deckbuilder by its own.
How much agency you have relies heavily on how you alter your blackjack deck, not busting and managing your health. You can see your deck and the opponents deck, so you can sort of plan ahead, and access your risk/reward when hitting/standing. There are some cards you can play on command, but they aren't many, and they often cost an expensive resource called advantage .
Most of the roguelike aspects comes from how you build your deck, while your opponents are mostly static and the same every run. You can choose different casinos/underground gambling places thus fighting different opponents ,but if you play enough, you know what you should tinker your deck towards against certain opponents
Things get pretty hectic by the mid-game though. The game has a ton of mini-games to earn cards, so it never gets stale despite all of that. I had quite a lot of fun with this game, and i need to play more.
I give this game a solid 9/10 Geralt of Rivera is the best card in the game, don't forget to Toss a coin to your Witcher,he will save your runs.

I liked Balatro a lot so I tried to enjoy this one but it felt repetitive really fast. All the dialogue remains the same and it didn't feel like you could have so many different strategies. I enjoyed the game at first and the developers but a TON of effort into the game, but I really just didn't like it. I appreciate how different the style of game is, but probably won't pick it back up.
