An excellent and extremely faithful remake of two games with many bonus features including variable customization and skater customization that doesn't require any bullshit microtransactions. It feels like Tony himself came down to Activision and said: "If you fuck this up, I won't work with you anymore." And while that's a work of fiction, I can tell you that the love I have for this game is very much a reality. The music selection, both old tracks and new, treats you to a kind of 'parkour sound' that often was in these types of games in the early 2000s- many celebrations of hip-hop, alt-rock, rap-rock, it transports you back to the era. The controls are solid, too, skating is smooth, satisfying, tacticle, and the tutorial is an ACTUALLY good tutorial- though if I had to reccomend one feature; it'd be teaching about grinding tricks. Chaining together combos, discovering new areas, finding hidden secrets, and experiencing level after level of nonstop action and atmosphere is what you should expect going in. I didn't get this in 2023, I wish I had, because this easily would've been GOTY for me. If you are a Tony Hawk fan, a longtime admirer of 'parkour' and 'trick' games, someone who's got an interest in the series, or even a passerby who just happened to hear about this -- you need to play this game. The amount of fun, customization, variation, and minute-to-minute gameplay that this series is known for -- that this series started-- is one for the historybooks. This is a masterclass of a remake, and a gigantic beacon for anyone hoping to faithfully adapt an older title. Polite to the player, loads of fun, and a timeless classic. 10/10.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! I highly recommend that you play it! It's very fun and exciting! You get to play as Tony Hawk or 20 of the real-life professional skateboarders from around the world. It also includes extra, hidden characters that you can unlock. You can also create your very own skateboarder. There are many places from all over the planet that you can skateboard in, and you can also create your own park to skateboard. There are also a total of 59 songs in this game that you can listen to while playing, just don't get any copyright strikes. I would definitely recommend this game on Steam!

As much fun as this game is there are multiple bugs that cause save data to be deleted that have been in the game since launch and remain unaddressed by the devs. If you do decide to pick this up BACK UP YOUR SAVE.

The character creator is shallow and the soundtrack is lacking, but this is still the most fun I've had playing a Tony Hawk game since I was a teenager. Definitely worth grabbing during a winter or summer sale.

This game is an AMAZING return to form after many years of both being mistreated and being on ice. Coming from someone who finished this game with every skater, gotten all the achievements, and considers themselves a massive fan of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise this is a must buy. It's essentially THPS 1 + 2's careers with better visuals and THPS 4 mechanics and it ABSOLUTELY SLAPS. Much of the original sound track returns with some fun new songs as well. If you are a fan or just getting into the franchise this game is a MUST HAVE. Even if the game is a cakewalk for you there are some TOUGH challenges for players looking to test themselves. Not all of them need to be completed for achievements but they offer a much needed test of skill for veteran players.

game will not allow you play offline unless you get a steamdeck , so if you game on your laptop and ever plan on travelling , camping or even playing your games at home during a storm , tony hawk will not let you play until you get a working internet connection . this is a very negative point and its made me have to rethink bothering to by the 3+4 collection as well sadly . cool game only if you have constant internet . and the way it was remastered is excellent so its a shame they do such things to the code .

We as a society lost a lot when Tony Hawk stopped being the coolest guy in the news. We need an everyman idol like him again. Anyway, this is a real great video game. My only exposure to the original games as a kid was watching older kids play the PC version of 2 in my afterschool childcare program as a kindergartener, but I played a lot of 3 on the Gamecube, so I'm familiar with the gameplay. What you're getting, for the few who haven't played these games, is arcade-style score attacks with platformer and collectathon esque elements, with a high skill ceiling. Very fun stuff, wrapped up with a blend of 2000s skater culture and modern punk. Very fun, very nostalgic for anyone from the early 2000s. Now, this game does have a fair bit of content, but it's also the type of game where replaying the same levels over and over and over is a big part of what drives that content. Me personally, I love it in this style of game, but if that's not your cup of tea, just be advised. Either way, good game, highly recommend.

It's a good game. But the sheer absurdity that is scrolling through not one, but two MILE LONG ELUA's to get to the accept button, while Rage Against The Machine plays, is PEAK dystopia.

I don't play this game like a normal person. I just keep skating the School level over and over trying to perfect my run. I am having a blast and don't care about the achievements or the progress...I just need the perfect run. This game also works on Linux so I am a fan for life.

[h3] WORD OF WARNING: [/h3] If you intend to purchase this game, [b]TURN OFF CLOUD SAVES, and BACK UP YOUR SAVES!!!![/b] If your PC suddenly shuts off for whatever reason (Power outage, BSOD, etc.) your save file will be COMPLETELY DELETED. I'd beaten both the THPS1 and THPS2 and wanted to start completing the solo tours for each of the skaters only to find my 30 hour save file was completely gone after a sudden power surge. Believe what many people say about this game, it is a very good remake of the original two games and does a great job of recapturing the spirit of the oldest games in this franchise, [u]but now that Vicarious Visions has been absorbed into blizzard and THPS 3+4 is released, the chances of this game being updated to fix these glaring issues that have been documented for years is slim to none.[/u] Thanks Activision.
