Buy it if u like action, indie, atmospheric, good soundtrack game.
Idk why but the last time I played this was in 2015, couldn't finished it at the time. then almost 10 years later, re-installed it and BOOM! finished it in a single run.
Nothing much to say but "Great game".
I bought this game purely because it was on sale and I love Hades, and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. The art? Absolutely stunning. The music? Amazing. The gameplay? Part turn based and part real time with the ability to experiment and find the most overpowered builds possible. The narrative? I cried, and honestly my second playthrough made me even sadder because I noticed even more heartbreaking details. 11/10 would devastate myself emotionally again

For as simple of a game this is, it has so much character. I love games that drop you into nowhere and tell you nothing until it's relevant. You are more prone to explore and ask questions about whats going on. Which helps fill the world even more. Thank you Super Giant for a lovely game.

Clearly Bastion feelings with storytelling being happening as we go. Visuals are okay, but combat system - while looked promising - is just boring after an hour. Not really much happening besides combats: walk and look around, grab another piece of the story, fight 'em, repeat.

I feel compelled to recommend Transistor despite the regrettable lack of trans sisters. Pros: + Gorgeous soundtrack + Fantastic voice acting + Stunning artwork, cyberpunk inspired aesthetics, and atmosphere + Steam Deck Verified Neutral: • The real time with pause gameplay and light strategy elements are not for everyone. You will either enjoy customizing the Transistor’s abilities or find combat to be tedious. • The story is simple on the surface but there is more to the world for players who want to explore its lore. The subjective nature of the narrative can make it difficult to follow for those only casually engaged. Cons: - Combat can feel repetitive, especially after multiple playthroughs

Combat is a little strange but overall this is a pretty good game.

Transistors is a fun game with great music and voice acting and excellent game play. It's a good mix of real time and paused strategy based combat using a lot of different weapons that can be your main, secondary or support tool that you can mix and match for different effects. It's a robust system but it's a bit hampered by an admittedly sparse variety of enemies. But it works well, and combat ends up being a puzzle, especially if you raise the difficulty with limiters. It's good that the gameplay and aesthetics is so good because the story is down right incomprehensible. That's not to say it's bad or anything, it's just inaccessible. You're in maybe a simulation or a futuristic city? Your friend or lover was murdered and is stuck in a sword? A secret organization wants to remake the world/simulation? It's not really clear through normal gameplay and while the final boss fight is cool it didn't clear anything up. It's pretty with a good cyberpunk vibe, and you will have to interpret the story however you want. You get small story snippets by using the different weapons in different ways. I think that's great design, it encouraged me to use all the weapons in unique ways at least once. But I was pretty let down that the information it provides is small character backgrounds that barely intercept with the story. Recommendable game, if you like supergiant games I'd say this is probably their weakest but it's still a very good game. If you like theory crafting a narrative then this game might be for you. For me, this is 7.5/10 game worth $10-$15. A good experience that everyone might not enjoy. If you've seen the show Pantheon on netflix, this has vaguely similar vibes.
