Interesting, I'd like to know how this was developed, I'd like to develop my own version

I will give this one a thumbs up if you like the old 2d aerial games like Jetstrike and Wings of Fury. How to use missiles correctly takes some practice and the keys involved are not so intuitive in teh heat of combat. Something though i think should be improved is the AI - the AI on both sides will pretty much just zoom off to have a head on clash and if you have fallen back at all then sometimes the AI has just eliminated itself entirely before one even gets a shot off

A shocking amount of work went into this title, despite the first impressions one may infer from the art style. What we have here is a comprehensive, but approachable aerial combat game with radar and infrared-based detection and missile tracking, fuel consumption and management, landing strip rearming, BVR combat, a mission editor, and an encyclopedia of key air combat fundamentals, weapon and aircraft tips, histories, and specs, and tutorials on playing the game. What's more, skins for the aircraft are easy to create and distribute. The game is stable, can be run simply and painlessly, and has a lot to offer as a sort of lite, two-dimensional alternative to a game like War Thunder. I would love to see expanded editor functionality to allow for more elaborate, complex mission designs, possibly with dialogue assigned to specific units or pre-mission briefing windows, which would allow players to create full-blown campaigns in the style of games like Ace Combat and Project Wingman. Overall, the wealth of content provided by the game and knowledge provided by the encyclopedia is well worth the asking price. Highly recommended.

War Thunder if Gaijin have a heart and in 2D. Don't let the look deceive you, it looks clumsy, childish or even stupid, but the effort and accuracy put in this game is quite amazing. The game also provided an IL2 1946 like experience of simple campaigns and editors. If you have experienced the flash games era, you will find a lot of nostalgia in this game too.
