DEVS... I have a easy fix for your broken PVP. If you are going to gate keep players without 5 commons from better gear in the night map, then keep people with those 5 commons from entering day time map. It's really that easy. It would give new/under-geared players a chance, which they do not have right now. This is why there are less than 1k people playing your game. You better do something quick or it's doomed. AGAIN- 5 commons gets you into NIGHT MAP and also keeps you out of DAY MAP. HOW EASY IS THAT? Imagine. 5 greens gets you into THIRD MAP and also keeps you out of DAY AND NIGHT MAP. WOW that was easy. Hire me. Fix this or the game is screwed dudes. We like the game but it's unfair for the people who aren't pro gamers.

Needs game modes that start people with now spawning advantage, old players just reck new players to a point we cant even stay in a match longer than a couple of mins, - tried 5 matches back to back and was ganked by a stacked rogue that can kill me faster than i can react.

Why do I have to roll back my Nvidia driver? YOU are the publisher - make it work for the current drivers like other developers do for their games. Sadly, I have to thumbs down given I cant even load into the game without making my other AAA titles suffer because these dev's are taking the P*ss.

A game with either no designer or a brain dead one. Gear based pvp that doesnt lock higher gear scores from playing in lower matches. A convoluted crafting system with crafting times to keep you staring at menus more than playing the game. Game will be dead in less than a year at this rate. Developers of this are completely clueless in what they want this experience to be.

New player experience: me (30h) and a friend (just started) went playing duos with level 1 warrior duo in the easiest map (Greenwood Day). With a few exceptions, every time we encountered players we got absolutely stomped to the ground. For example there was a duo running full epic gear which we encountered all through the evening, just running through the map and stomping everyone with both gear diff and experience. It felt like there was no point in even trying to progress any loot-based objectives, because you'd just get steamrolled in pretty much every instance and just lose everything. Why do I still recommend this game though? I think this problem is 1. known by the devs 2. fixable with some changes like gear and level based matchmaking, assuming that the player base can support that. In the rare cases where we actually encountered players of similar gear and skill level, I think this game (already in this EA state) offers one of the most fun and surprisingly polished PvP experiences currently available, with an obviously high skill ceiling (although pretty steep learning curve to learn all mechanics and their nuances of all classes you play with/against). It is absolutely not for the casual gamer. But if you enjoy sweaty high skill ceiling PvP games (that are not just another FPS, yawn), then I think this game has a lot to provide. As mentioned before, I also think that it is surprisingly polished even at this early state, so that gives me faith for the devs to be able to work through the issues this and other reviews have raised and to make this one of the leading fantasy RPG extraction games out there. So yeah, recommended, but with a caveat due to the new player experience at this time.

I like a lot of what is here, the gameplay and art style are very strong. This feels like a decent middle ground between Hunt and Tarkov with a little bit of a Dark and Darker twist on it. I will say something that sticks out that I immediately dislike is this: people can die then re-queue and end up in your match again. We killed a trio, they swapped to skills to counter our builds, then came back in and ambushed us at the next compound. This shouldn't happen in an extraction shooter. A few adjustments would make this a very solid PvX.

Going to be honest here... As a long time MMORPG player and FPS player... this game is just not doing enough to show off its best aspects, but instead killing them with the style of game they are trying to create. It is a WONDERFUL combat system and has amazing PvE and PvP combat, artwork, open world, and extremely fun PVE content to play, even as limited as it is at early access. Sure early access has bugs and glitches to be expected.. and whatever. That being said... whats happening to the friends I invite to play is happening to the thousands of others who come to play it. The toxic slaughter from the experienced players in open world full time PVP. The only answer I hear to the many complaints is "its a pvp game" "git gud" "try harder"... Cool, but its not going to grow the community. If the Devs intend to keep this game as is for the Elite few that "got gud" then I don't think it will ever make any real money or advance, IMO. Viable and Playable PvE content would fix this. Its just absolutely disgusting to play a game, progress through a dungeon you invested time and materials into JUST ENTERING THE Q, to progress through fighting the difficult enemies, just to have a geared group of players standing near by to clean you up and kill you while you're depleted from the fight, you lose everything and make it all a total waste of time. Its just not going to succeed like this, or be fun. Certainly wont get any more recommendations from me, despite how fun the game play and PVE content truly is.... When you're not being ganked in the middle of it. The try hards and advanced pvp players will enjoy ganking noobs on free weekends and half off sales while they can.. but keeping players? I don't see it happening as long as a FULLY GEARED experienced player can just join the same q as a week one player and mop them up with all their progress smashed... IN EVERY AVAILABLE Q Seems to be the only point of it. I understand not watering down the game like blizzard did every single patch over the years... But PVE content is needed to get people to stick around and get better. Balanced ques... "Item Level" restrictions on lower level/entry level maps... Dungeons with no pvp at all would be great... But the replies I've seen from Devs and many of the veteran players just don't look like its going to go this way at all. Its a PvP game and catering to a high skill level... that's that. Lot's of fun, till it's just not. Good Luck. I am sure I will continue to play as long as it's out for the parts of it that are excellent.. Just not going to tell you that you should. Expect to lose your "progress" currencies and loot and expect to die, a lot. After playing an additional 25 hours... Im out. It's just not fun getting constantly punted because Im trying to play some PvE content. Good luck.. Could have been a really good game. Just awful toxic PvP only. Uninstalling. I'm not alone... Do these charts tell you that this game is doing a good job retaining its new players?? See for yourself... https://steamdb.info/app/2344320/charts/#max

I had the game refunded shortly after purchasing it. This is solely due to the “business model”, which I only noticed after character creation. There are currently five playable classes in the game, but you only get four character slots. So if you want to play all five classes, you are forced to delete a character in which you have invested x hours or x game sessions for leveling and upgrading. If you want to avoid this problem and have a slot for each of the classes, you have to spend another €25 on the “Founder's Supporter Pack”, which guarantees an additional character slot. So if you want to play this Early Access game without the developer's built-in restrictions, you will have to pay €50. And for 50€ you can find a lot of good and finished games on Steam. This may currently remove the restriction, but the developers are planning to introduce another class (Paladin), which will later lead to you only having five slots for six classes and take you back to the restriction described above. I wanted to give this - to me promising - title a chance, but not under these conditions. If the developer guarantees one slot per class and doesn't tie it to the "Supporter Packs", I'll almost certainly change my mind and give it a try.

Combat is awesome, only major issue is the new player experience is terrible. Sheeps and Wolves experience with veterans of the game. Hopefully they can resolve that in the future.
