NOT for multiplayer, its a stalemate ALWAYS and you will get bored or crushed.

Game is 11 years old and makes my pc go vrooooo like I've booted up skyrim with 25k graphics mod. This isn't normal. Also the characters are absolutely horrendous (and the animations are stiff as fuck) and gameplay is somewhat worse than the older titles (legends, crusader, 1). Also blue rating on steam is probably due to the fact people loved the original crusader, but this sequel is a 5/10 at best

This not the rework of the first part with removed exploits and added quality of life changes. It has it's own specifics and rebalancings, it's worth playing if you played SC1.

Good strategy game, however it's one of the harder rts games out there due to the amount of micromanagement it have which pales other rts games such as warcfract 3 and Generals command & conquer. Still good and most importantly its a CRUSADE.

One of the best strategy games im a settlers Player in the past now the storghold series is better 2x There you have 3 best strategy series 1. Stronghold 2. Age of History 2&3 (when multi on 3 aveliable) 3. Settlers

The game is quite old and many thing is missing those small detail i love in stronghold / stronghold Crusader but it still the best castle built that you can really use the wall. The game is a bit boring with those limit of unit and building for me but i can understand may be during it release and limit of engine. But overall game is still fun for me enough i buy it since day one and most of DLC but finish it in 2025 ~ ~ which is took 10 years graphic look quite old already but not bad. The thing I'm still hate about game is path finding and group unit during assualt but i'm enjoy the fight when assualt the castle overall it great game but many thing is missing here and there but not that bad. I hope warlod will be ok

I really want to like this game, really want, but sadly, I had to choose "Not Recommended" Choice for this game, All because this game is so bad optimized even in my rig, not to mention I'm using RTX 3050 laptop series with intel core i5 11400H and 32 GB RAM and samsung 970 Evo plus SSD which I can play Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy and most of AAA games smoothly even at high settings but this one, I am a fan of Stronghold Crusader series, I was played since Stronghold Crusader 1 at my pentium 4 PC back then and I want to get nostalgic by buying this one, but all I had is just unoptimized game like this one, I'm so sad, trully sad, I was hope I could play this game so smoothly because I just love its graphic, its gameplay, but sigh... again, sorry to say, I had to refunded this game because this game is so bad optimized in PC

as it stands i love the game however it is quite literally crashing, CONSTANTLY. its unplayable YEARS after release and is a disgrace. almost worse than the 3rd game which is saying A LOT. don't waste your money like i did sadly.
