This game runs terribly. The Servers for MY Faction are always crashing and unavailable. This game is the same game as last years 2K23, but named 2K24. I don't recommend purchasing this game , nor would I purchase 2K25. Garbage.

This game trolls you on purpose. I just did the scott hall shawn michaels showcase match and despite having more than half a bar of health and not letting him make a move and reversing all of his moves, michaels somehow mustard the strength to sweet chin and grab the belts. I was attempting to do the "deal damage to michaels outside the ring on the left' when he all of a sudden when from a sack of potatoes I was having my way with to winning the match. It's literally laughable and glad I got this at sale price. Very unlikely to buy dlc now lol

WWE 2K24 is an absolute triumph! The gameplay is incredibly smooth, and the new animations take the experience to a whole new level. Each match feels intense and exhilarating, and the attention to detail in the roster is fantastic. MyRise offers an engaging storyline, while GM Mode has me hooked for hours on end. The graphics are stunning, and the customization options allow for endless creativity. A huge shoutout to the incredible dev team for their hard work—this is easily the best WWE game yet! I’m eagerly looking forward to WWE 2K25 and can’t wait to see what amazing features you’ll bring next. This game is an absolute must-play for any wrestling fan! If anyone deserves a free copy of 2K25, it’s the dedicated fans who pour their hearts into this series! Keep up the fantastic work! #WWE2K24

My first WWE game after SmackdownVsRaw 2011, glad i didnt buy any other games that came in between considering all the reviews... got this one when i preorder 2k25. gameplay is very immersive, lot of things to do.. lot of tokens in MyFaction... can be overwhelming for a new WWE 2K player which is followed by the point that the explaination of how things work is very poor though contradicting my point that i got this game after almost a year of launch and if i had gotten the game at or around launch the problems that i faced would not have been there as this one is too grindy for me at this stage (though i like it). The reversal or prevention popup is still broken which it has been since i played SvR2010-11 which is fine major issue is that online for me in india is not working and constant 2k server disconnection while playing MyFaction. But a reboot of game fixes that. Since I 'got' it now.. most of the locker codes are not working which means more more more more grind to unlock MyFaction cards.. which are necessary because my god fighting the legend AI is no joke i mean 55lvl card is kicking butt of my 75lvl card.. it was demoralising untill i completed some grindy tasks to make my card to a ruby card then i got a couple of diamond lvl card which was ok but as i am progressing i will be needing better cards and what is up with the attribute thing.. toooo much to take in but its okaaaaay Talking about steam achievements.. i am trying but i doubt at this point ill be able to because quick play is not that active (or not at all active) in india. i hope i will not face these issues with the WWE 2K25 as ill be playing it from day 1.

My Game play feels like it got fast forwarded when I try on low graphics settings seems like a bug for me. I have all other 2k games 2k20, 2k22, 2k23 they are really fine. But this game feels weird for me Which made me think of getting refund that I don't usually do on any games Edit: Whatever I said above is based on my first Impression on the game. So I found an optimal settings to get rid of above mentioned issue for me. However I want to mention 1 con for now that is most of my favourite wrestlers are locked behind DLC or I need to unlock them by playing the game which I really don't appreciate it. I will keep playing the game and maybe I will update this review later based on my perspective.

so many problems to list, servers are always down or bugged out of their mind, multiple alts are locked behind a slot machine paywall, half the caw downloads are "damaged" meaning 2K didn't want people downloading it, dlc pack wasted on football podcasters just to name a few of the issues, wouldn't recommend

I totally recommend this game especially if you have a sibling/friend to play with locally with and mess around, as it is definitely less frustrating than other classic fighting games and overall more chill gameplay. Playing solo is nice as well especially creating your own universe with custom characters or even downloaded ones from community. I created a female popstars and male rap singers universe and it resulted in lots of funny scenarios and rivalries. The gameplay itself is really easy to pick up and learn and the graphics are really top notch for a wrestling game. Even if there is no ragdoll and animations look constantly the same, the randomness and the diversity that fights always have to offer will never make it feel repetitive in an annoying way. As I have mentioned before the game offers one of the best free downloadable content of all sorts through the community creations where you can find anything from custom arenas, title belts and superstars. Also if you decide to create your own superstars the face scanning feature really shines and you can create accurate representations of real persons if you put a little time into it. I am not really familiar with any kind of design creations in video games but I was able to create a really good and accurate looking Nelly Furtado (Maneater music video outfit look) custom wrestler for my singers universe. Overall I really recommend the game whenever you find it on a nice discount especially!

There's tons of programming issues, but the gameplay is solid and IF they build upon the gameplay, concentrate on MyGM and Universe Mode LEAVE MyFaction to console, then this game can reach greatness. But that's the question: Do the developers want to make the best game they're capable of making, or will they just resort back to 2K scamming ways to just make the most money. We will see in 2K25.

played an hour - requested a refund. Incredibly unresponsive in matches, controls don't flow like past games. The MyRise is gender locked, clunky. Limited modes which tbh aren't interesting and lots of content locked behind paywalls and DLC.

Holy I did not expect to put so much time into this. I haven't touched a wwe game since smackdown vs. raw 2006 (which I played to death with my brother), and this game brought back so many memories, while feeling pretty similar but greatly improved upon over the years. I had fun in all the game modes, which is rare for me in a sports game, and I love the community creations for some fun superstars and stuff. The roster is also pretty sweet in my opinion. There was some things I disliked, server connection was a pain in the ass and I would have to restart a few times to connect sometimes. I downloaded a bunch of superstars for a custom universe only to find out a few were "female" and couldn't wrestle 98% of the roster which kinda sucked (I see you will be able to do this in 2k25 tho so sick). I also was pretty salty to play through myrise, all the showcase, and a bunch of myfaction only to have enough in game currency for like 5 superstars, obviously they want you to pay for the dlc but as someone with over 150 hours I feel like I should get a little bit more than that. Overall pretty good game, I will probably not buy 2k25 for full price, but I will definitely get one in the next few years for the right sale.
