Amazing game. Quality is way better then cat quest 1 and 2. Great music design, gameplay and art style.

It’s a short game with tons of variety. You’ll be looking for treasures most of the time, but it keeps throwing surprises at you. Being able to freely get on and off the boat, even from the water, it made everything smoother.

It's really nice to see the series get better and better, this one in particular really improves on how the game feels and looks, especially in the dungeons and caves. I love a lot of things about this one but I do think that the biggest misstep is the lack of side content compared to the previous titles. I do think that especially the side quests in the older games felt like filler considering the fact that the main story really isn't that long in either game, but this one went a bit too far with trimming down, I think there was a room for some interesting side quests, for example the twin quest in the first game always seemed like a highlight. Another thing is that the map is the smallest, or at least it feels like it. It does make sense considering the pirate gameplay however adding up the fact that there isn't that much side content overall it does feel fairly short. Overall definitely the best of the series and still highly enjoyable, just a little disappointed in the small amount of side quests.

Very cute, *very* short game, just like the other 2.
6.5 hours to beat the game, 9 hours to 100% it.
Worth $10-12. Not really worth $20 in my opinion. Catch all 3 on sale for $30 and it's a very fair price.

Cat Quest III is again a great game! It delivers more of the known formula but has own ideas, characters, and puzzles. The game triggers exploration instincts as in every corner of the world the next surprise awaits. All presented with humor and love for details. The new boat mechanic fits in great and the controls are smooth with mouse and keyboard. Very much fun to play!

I had a great time playing Cat Quest III. Another great ARPG in the series and if they make another one, I'll be grabbing that one too because I have enjoyed all of them. I love the artwork, the characters, the personalities and puns, and the story.

If you enjoyed Cat Quest 1 and 2, you’ll definitely enjoy this one. It’s action-packed, loaded with puns, and simply a good time all around. The combat feels slick, the humour holds up, and the overall vibe is just as charming as ever.
That said, I think the achievements could be improved—there’s not much incentive to dive into Mew Game+ without any new achievement goals to chase. Personally, that took some of the wind out of my sails for replayability.
Still, I’m looking forward to Cat Quest 4 and seeing where the wonderfully bizarre story ends up next.

Cat Quest III: A Royal Meow-velous Adventure
Cat Quest III takes the charming formula of its predecessors and infuses it with a fresh coat of paint, adding new mechanics and a grander scale while retaining the series' signature humor and charm. While it builds upon the foundation laid by the previous games, it also carves its own unique path.
What's New and Improved:
Larger World and More Diverse Environments: The game world is significantly larger and more varied than before. Expect lush forests, towering mountains, and even underwater sections, each with its own unique challenges and creatures.
New Abilities and Combat Mechanics: The combat system has been enhanced with new abilities and spells, adding more strategic depth to the battles. The addition of mounts adds a new dimension to exploration and traversa.
Character Customization: While not as extensive as some RPGs, the game offers more options for customizing your cat's appearance and abilities.
Enhanced Story and Characters: The narrative is more engaging than in previous games, with a more complex plot and memorable characters. The humor remains a key element, with plenty of puns and witty dialogue.
Improved Graphics: The visuals have received a noticeable upgrade, with more detailed environments and character models.
What Remains the Same (and why it's good):
Charming Art Style: The game retains the adorable art style that has become a hallmark of the series. It's consistently delightful and visually appealing.
Witty Writing: The humor remains a key element, with plenty of puns and funny dialogue to keep you entertained.
Minor Drawbacks:
Technical Issues: As with any game release, there have been some reports of minor technical issues, although these seem to be relatively infrequent.
Pacing: The game's pacing might feel a bit slow at times, particularly in the early stages.
Overall:
Cat Quest III is a worthy addition to the series, successfully building upon the strengths of its predecessors while introducing new features and improvements. The enhanced world, new abilities, and engaging story make it a satisfying experience for both longtime fans and newcomers. While a few minor issues exist, they don't significantly detract from the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a charming, funny, and engaging RPG, Cat Quest III is a purr-fect choice!
