This is the only realistic non-vr climbing game I have played that is both challenging but fair. Few other games I have seen can reach that level. and if you wish not to have that challenge, there are ways of taking that challenge away. This game also has a very nice learning curve (Until the last mountain of the main game) where it slowly incorporates and upgrades your gear as you play the game. 9.9/10 -0.01 for Tempest

I've never come across a game that is so inexplicably good and satisfying to play, but unironically rage-inducing. It takes itself so seriously, and it feels like it doesn't want to make me frustrated, but I WILL throw my computer out the window or my controller through the floor if I fall down another 1,000 km off a sloper. But it's so satisfying when I make it to the top. Except for the boulders. F*** the boulders. And the sloper holds. And the volume holds.

Realized the entire game is a tutorial for the final climb... The Solemn Tempest. All fun and games until you reach this behemoth of a mountain. Not sure if there's even joy after completing the climb.

This is exactly what I expected, but better! Reminds me of "A Difficult Game About Climbing" and The Lighthouse by Robert Edgers 8.5/10!

The player would benefit from chalk much the same way a climber would. Very satisfying to pursue mechanical mastery, tons of fun. The characters are extremely charming. Definitely the best movement game I've played.

Even after playing for only 2 hours and beating 13 peaks, I can safely assure this is one of the best games ever made. The physics feel responsive and intuitive and every new mechanic to aid you gets introduced in a believable and fun way. The satisfaction I felt after beating a 10-minute climb is nothing short of extraordinary. Can't wait to play more and find out about the other peaks.

Very clever take on the climbing / "Go Up" Genre. Each level introduces a new challenge/climbing style/annoyance to overcome. A very satisfying feeling to reach the peak. While I am only 8 peaks in at this point, really enjoying the game so far. Worth a few bucks if you are curious IMO. Edit: 18 peaks in now. Difficulty scales up pretty rapidly, in a fun but also frustrating way. Still would recommend if you are curious.

Very fun time, reallyyy hurts my hand and sanity (and I'll probably never finish it). If you have more patience than me and you enjoy movement/speedrun games with a high skill ceiling, then this might be the perfect game for you.

Came from Spiff, as pretty much everyone did. This game NEEDS more recognition. I love it. Easy to learn, challenging to master. Looks like a rage game, but it isn't! Very smooth difficulty curve, it's only really the last 2 mountains in the game that could be classified as "rage", but that's only due to their insane heights. DLC is challenging, but a very fun time if you enjoyed the base game. Highly recommend playing.

You might think its a rage game (and it is once you get to Tempest) but its actually quite fun, and not that infuriating until end game. The movement feels really nice and smooth, and there is some crazy schmoovment tech for this game. Highly recommend playing this little hidden golden nugget. (:
