Love the game! You get stuck on levels every now and again, but that's fine. Most of the time you overcome the challenge... Then again, I haven't made it to the endgame yet. I've heard of people taking literal hours to beat that mountain. But every peak is a reward. 9.5/10 "These bricks are loose" strikes fear into the heart of every new player.

A nice little game about using your hands, and crampons to almost fly up a mountain. Fun Then Solemn Tempest came about... The Great Bulwark was only the tutorial they say... A journey I have yet to finish...

This is my first review because the game deserves it. Incredible game that's definitely worth the money on sale. Allows you to set your own challenge with none of the extra tools being mandatory (they are for the end sadly). Just finished the last mountain with it alone taking me over 50 hours, and when I got there the only feeling is sadness that there's not a 3 times higher mount somewhere in the distance. DLC awaits. This game has made me go through more pain than any other rage game, however it is the most rewarding fun, and entertaining game, you can play for HOURS and still have more content!

Just Finished the FINAL climb after taking a leave from the game due to anger. Finally had the itch to come back and what a beautiful game! After 3:00:00 of pure fear, I can now honestly say this has been one of the most fulfilling gaming experiences I have probably ever had. From the tech and skills you pickup through playtime to the (fitting) style of scenery and characters, it is all a joy! When you aren't doing the hardest three or four climbs in the game, it is a fun puzzle game with elements of foddian games. When you get to the final climbs, it TRULY embraces the foddian nature and tests your patience, skill, and willpower. What a experience to have had. I am not a game reviewer by any means, and so this is not based on any strict criteria, but I have no complaints! It was a very styled experience meant to be as challenging (ropeless/chalkless) or easy (coffee/rope/chalk) as you desire! Mwah, thank you so much dev for making these life-long memories for me!

this game will change you view on hard yet chill games the game starts off easy yet it will turn up he diffculty extreamly my current play time of making this review its about how long it take to do the final peak

This is the most fun non vr-game climbing game i've ever played. Perfectly made with lots of content and exploration. Would recommend if you don't get titled fast.

Peaks of Yore is a game about a crazy scottish man that loves climbing mountains. It is the true experience of being scottish and I had a love of fun with it. It can be so obseenly hard but when you acheive these challenging peaks it feels so rewarding, especially without using ropes. I have beaten the highest peak the game has to offer and I can confidently say that I truly peaked my yores. Would recommend.

This game made me realise I love climbing games. Every new climb is challenging in it's own way, and when you get better, you easily do old climbs you used to struggle with. Peaks Of Yore is the highlight of my life, and I took HRT for the first time. It beats having boobs.

This game has consumed almost 10 days of my life and i have developed a love for mountain climbing from this game. it is a real PEAK game that anybody who has any interest at all needs to play. thank you Astral Spiff for my most played game on steam
