Great game if you enjoy solo board gaming like One Deck Dungeon, Dicey Dungeons, 20 Strong, etc. Being able to build combos and a good dice pool feels satisfying and there is a good amount of puzzle to it that keeps you entertained.

Pretty good, but brutal in its difficulty, Edit: it is brutal at the very start of the run, when it is impossible not to take damage at every encounter. So you are searching for ways to stop taking damage, and once you find it (there are many ways), the game becomes easy, and the endgame is just not hard at all. For example, at game start I had a character (that I had never played before) start at 25 health and 15 armor. Very soon, I was at 7 health and 0 armor. Then I got a skill that could generate armor, and another skill that could give me life. At the end of the game I had 27 life and 77 armor. The end game enemies where not challenging at all.
It is also missing several quality-of-life features, such as the ability to sort or rearrange dice, and an undo button for simple mistakes that don't reveal something new. It also completely lacks a save feature, and a statistics screen. No cloud sync either, so each of your computers have a different save file for unlocks.
I would give it 3 out of 5, or an "ok" recommendation, but since those does not exist, I guess I will recommend the game to players who like dice games.

Neither deckbuilder, nor a card battler, gameplay is rather confusing. It leaves mixed feelings, but rather negative ones

Its a fun game with a unique core mechanic but, aside from the spelling and grammar errors (which really aren't a big deal as you can still tell what they're trying to say, they're just too numerous not to mention) its main problem is that its CRASHING EVERY TIME I PICK UP A DICE. Considering that's literally the main way you interact with the game, I can't recommend it and will be refunding.

A great game that doesn't have to be fast paced if it's not your wish, it can provide some challenges and has a good selection of different characters all with niche abilities. great value for the price

The game is just great! Great balance. Different biomes, heroes and an element of chance. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Fun idea, but the mechanics don't seem very balanced. In just my first round (aside from the tutorial) I was easily able to go infinite in multiple ways by floor 7 or so. It can be fun finding game breaking combos, but it just seemed far too easy to do which made it not as exciting to find it and no real challenge.
Gold Skull Shield + Growth Stone + Enemy with damage less than your number of skills = infinite money
Add ice gloves = infinite armor
Also kind of lame that there is a maximum number of artifacts, especially since there isn't really a warning.
Not a terrible game overall though - just needs some work in the balance department.

I wish I could give this game a mixed review, because I have a LOT of thoughts. Unfortunately though, I don't think I can quite recommend it. This game is clearly inspired by one deck dungeon, and tries to improve in areas that one deck dungeon struggled in. I think it misses the mark in certain areas though.
First, I'll start with what I do like about the game:
*I like each character and how unique their playstyles are. Each character brings something special to the table.
*I like how this game handles ascensions. Each character has their own set of unique "dungeons" which will make each characters higher difficulties feel different. This is a cool concept.
*There is also some loadout customability which is cool as well.
*Enemies generally have interesting abilities and some interesting dice restrictions
Now to why I don't recommend the game:
*Bosses are really lackluster. There are 2 bosses right at the end to choose from and both will die in 1 turn. Its the easiest part of the run and so underwhelming. Games like one deck dungeon do bosses better where the threat of death is always looming.
*Balance is really bad in this game as well. Dice power is king, and if you using a starting artifact that doesn't give you extra dice, the game immediately becomes harder. Reason being is you need more dice to gaurentee you win in 1 turn and don't take damage. Also, certain gimmicks like ice is so hilariously powerful that you would be crazy not to save up money for it. And other gimmicks like getting extra dice on the next turn is useless since you want to win fights as quickly as possible.
*No game variety. I mentioned dungeons had variety earlier. The problem is the enemies themselves really don't have variety and especially the bosses. So even with the unique ascensions, the game still ends up feeling stale after awhile. Also, I can think of a few ways to add dice restrictions that are interesting and fair, but those don't exist (Such as 2- instead of 4+).
*Lacking quality of life features. Can't preview the enemy board for the exposed enemy, no quick clicking for dice where you always have to drag the dice. No map view while your in a fight/shop/etc. Probably other things too, but its ultimately just lacking polish.
*No controller or cloud save support.
Ultimately, If you are looking for a different dice experience, you might find some fun here. But I personally don't think this game has enough to offer to want to do all the difficulties.
