It feels... stiff. It doesn't feel like a very fluid tactics game where you're making lots of decisions and weighing cost-benefits. It feels like a puzzle where you're trying to just not "mess up". I've already had an auto-attack accidentally kill one of my own units, had a zombie move 7 tiles from off screen to finish somebody off, and had my bottleneck disrupted by a counter attack finishing off an enemy, make room for another to come and deal additional damage.
I'm left feeling like I'm at the mercy of my units own stupidity right out of the gate. The skills that are meant to make ME be stronger in combat have a very real likelihood of backfiring, and I don't like it. Especially this early in. It's not made for a pleasant experience.
